I was visiting town and looking for Celiac safe gluten-free food. Although the restaurant is full menu and has table service, the staff was very helpful when I orderred to-go during the dinner rush. The food is very fresh and tasty. Staff is well educated about gluten-free concerns. We are from Michigan and found this restaurant a year ago. Went again last night as we enjoyed it so much the first time! Food is amazing service is outstanding. The owner made a non alcoholic martini that looked amazing asked her if she could add some vodka and let me tell you it was amazing! The owner is always so friendly highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t !

We had a retirement reception in the event room. Gwen helped us through the entire process and the food provided by George was perfect! The staff set everything up and kept food, plates and drinks available…and even plated the cake we brought in. They provided an area for coats (necessary on a cold winter evening) and a microphone with needed equipment for our Master of Ceremonies and for those who made speeches. Our party of 80 had plenty of space to sit, and move around to socialize.
We ordered extra food…we wanted to have plenty, what was left over was packaged by the staff for us to take with us.
EVERYONE had a wonderful time and LOVED the food and the facility.
We HIGHLY recommend Morelands at the Waterworks for lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, and private events

This restaurant goes on the top of our list. Only 10 minutes from our home, but yesterday was our first time and went back again, today, for Sunday brunch, so good! Huge selections, with prime rib, fresh waffles, eggs, omelettes, and pasta being made fresh
Our family was with us who has celiac disease. There was so many options that were gluten-free. They have a separate fryer so we had french fries, sweet potato fries, and wings. All were delicious. My husband had a pilgrim wrap. It was a Thanksgiving meal inside a tortilla shell and delicious, I had fresh grilled tuna with a wasabi ranch that was prepared perfectly. The gluten-free meals were chicken Alfredo, seafood Alfredo, chili, ribs, prime rib sandwich, each amazing, huge portion! The service could not be any better, and the owner, Gwen, came out to apologize for our food taking longer than normal, but we appreciated the extra time they were taking to be sure there was no cross contamination. You will not be sorry to try this restaurant, it’s worth finding. So glad we did.Truly a place where they care for each person that comes to have a wonderful time and meal.

Decided to take my wife to dinner last night. We landed at Morelands. We knew it would be busy and didn’t have a reservation, so we approached with patience. To my surprise we were sat quickly at a table near the bar. Everyone seemed friendly, but the service we had was top notch. Tina made us feel like we had known her or whole lives. She was interacting with both of us and making sure we had a good time while we waited for our food. The appetizer she suggested was fantastic and the drink she suggested for my wife was delicious. The food was incredible and the service was unmatched. I hope management reviews this post and let’s Tina know that she made our night and we WILL be back.

On my way home from Morelands after a spectacular Valentine’s Day meal. Service was non-existent. Then, in swoops, Tina. She fixed it. I saw her fix multiple other tables.
The food: y’all. Unreal. I’m so difficult to please. The artichokes Romano were wonderful. The Delmonico’s topped with fresh crab were divine. The place was packed. The team struggled keeping the floor clean. The food was SO SO good.
My advice: go out of your way. Make the reservation. Tell Tina that she is single handedly keeping the place afloat. And then, savor the experience.

Tried this restaurant for the first time during restaurant week. The food was good but could have been better seasoned.
We waited an hour for our appetizers which was not great but I’m guessing it was a busy night. The dessert was good but the trifle was a bit soggy and tasted like it was not freshly made. The staff were really friendly and I’d definitely be down to visit again.

Nice place , good food an great desserts. Been here a few times . They have a bar an restaurant an offer banquet rooms . We have been having our family meet here for a holiday get together foe the last few years . More on the higher end in prices for dinner. But not high end to dress up too much.
