If you are in the Mystic, CT area and looking for a quaint “old fashioned” restaurant; that serves homemade breakfast that is delicious, you must stop and visit “Somewhere In Time”. Coffee is served in old fashioned, thick, almost unbreakable mugs that are a through-back in time. Nothing fancy, but a clean establishment, quality food and friendly staff with very good prices.

The coffee here is so good, and for eats I had the hocus poachus, so delicious! Adorable little breakfast and lunch shop.

Somewhere in Time has become my favorite breakfast/lunch place. I often go by myself with my book a few times a month, and I’m never disappointed. Their specials board changes daily and is phenomenal. Very rarely do I order from the actual menu as their specials are always so good (the photos I included are from two different days, but are both daily specials). The staff is very polite and attentive, and I really can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely check it out.

We love to try new places and going out to eat. First time here. I ordered the banana bread French toast with a side of bacon. My husband ordered an omelette platter with a side of corn beef ash. It was delicious! The staff was welcoming. The owner was at the register. Coffee was fresh! We will definitely be back.

This was our second breakfast spot in CT. I don’t know if it’s because we’re accustomed to good/great breakfast in NYC from corner stores & expect sit down spots to do a good job but this place was just disappointing.

As Our Family of seven were on our way home from vacation, we came across this diner serving breakfast, not knowing what Blessing it would become or our favorite meal from up North. We had the best grits, banana bread French toast and apple chicken sausage. Needless to say we would make this long trip again just to eat at somewhere in time.Cyndi from Va Beach Va

We came on a Tuesday at 9am. It was a full restaurant but no line waiting. The food was a letdown. It was just so so. The home fries looked so good covered in spices. Unfortunately they were soggy no crispy parts and flavorless. The sausages were a bit undercooked. Sausages was very slow. The only good thing was the grab your own coffee. No waiting for coffee is the best.

Cute little place but I got the tuna melt to go on white bread and it would of been better if the tuna salad wasn’t so dry and my toast wasn’t burnt so bad it was black
