Some Crust Bakery has been Claremont’s Bakery for over 100 years. We are proudly an institution in the city of Claremont, a beautiful college town about 35 miles east of Los Angeles, nestled at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and Mount Baldy. If you are looking for quality, hand-made baked goods, cakes, pies, cupcakes, bread, sandwiches, coffee, and so many other delicious treats, then you have come to the right place!

What a variety of baked goods! Great shop to pick up treats for a party. We enjoyed everything we tried, including the Mocha Chocolate Chip cookies and Red Velvet Cupcake.
It’s a charming tiny shop (don’t think there’s any indoor seating) and parking is difficult to find on weekends. Definitely a grab and go experience.

We had the pleasure of having Some Crust bake and deliver our wedding cake earlier this month, and we are so incredibly thankful that we were able to go with them, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bakery for a cake for their wedding! They made the whole process of choosing a wedding cake so incredibly smooth and easy, and it eliminated all stress with this portion of the wedding.
The planning process was so fun, and we got to try so many different flavors (all of which were incredibly delicious). Their staff were great at helping us design the cake. They were even able to deliver the cake all the way from Claremont to Fallbrook, and with that included, it was still cheaper than some of the other cake companies that were right next door to our venue.
The day of the wedding, the cake was delivered without a hitch, the cake was delicious, and we had leftovers to eat. It still remained delicious enough to eat over the next week and surprisingly was still moist and delicious every day we ate it. We would highly recommend to anyone considering Some Crust for their wedding needs or just for any delicious baked goods in general!

We had Some Crust prepare our wedding cake. It came out beautiful and delicious. The events coordinator, Gaby, helped us figure out some good flavor combinations after our initial tasting. We and the guests loved their banana flavor cake with banana buttercream and chocolate ganache.

When in Claremont, never hurts to stop by to pick up some treats here at Some Crust Bakery. I do enjoy their cookies!! I’ve had their cake for my nieces birthday, it was good. I always forget to have cash when swinging by and am thankful for my emergency cash I carry.

Great sandwiches for very reasonable price. The employees were friendly and efficient with taking orders. They handled waves of customers well. The sandwiches were delicious and you get to choose the type of bread for each one. I don’t think they have enough seating for peak hours and it might be a good idea to have more tables.

Some Crust handled our wedding cake and desserts for our wedding at Padua Hills Theatre, and they truly delivered FULL STOP with the quality, service, flavor, and overall “WOW” factor! My husband and I wanted a small cake for the sake of pictures, but our primary dessert for our guests were an assortment of apple, peach, and cherry pies. From our first consultation and tasting (which was DELICIOUS and so much fun!) through their punctual and prompt delivery and setup, Some Crust truly took care of us and made sure we FELT taken care of. Cheers to Gaby and the team, and we will always be patrons of their bakery and services!

We got two sandwiches and then walked over to the bakery side and Candice was so helpful! My wife and I happened to catch her running after a guest that had forgotten his order! Great service! And she was so nice to us aswell. All the pastries were tasty and the sandwiches were bomb. Definitely would recommend
