We had the best server! April did a great job while also bartending and putting together to go orders. Several other servers came up to her to ask her questions about food/drinks while we were there, and she was always kind and polite in helping them with what they needed. She made this an excellent experience for us! I would 100% recommend this restaurant. Ask for April when you go in!

Today my sweet hubby took me to here its one of my favorite restaurants in Nacogdoches. We went to have dinner. This time I wanted to shrimps. Especially the shrimp cocktail was so good. Anyway it was good taste and my stomach was full. I’ll be back until to leave for Japan.

Unfortunately, my food didn’t suffice, which wasn’t too surprising given the lack of cars in the parking lot for a Friday evening during happy hour. When I finally tried the meal, I was disappointed— it was quite bland and lacked flavor. It definitely didn’t hit the mark for authentic Mexican cuisine. I’d recommend keeping your search going and looking for better options! My pinacoladà was the only thing that taste good

For the 1st time ever. I didn’t like my food. I ordered a salad, and my ate was full of water from the beans and corn, the waiter said the water may of came from the lettuce but I showed him it wasn’t from the lettuce and that I wasn’t happy and would be the last time to order it if I ever came back. The salad was suppose to have lettuce, corn, black beans, chicken, Avocado, and a spicy dressing. What I got was very little lettuce, chicken, and Avocado but a whole lot of corn and beans with water. I ate very little couldn’t handle it. They took 1/2 the price of the salad. Everything else was good. Service was great.

We stopped in while driving through town having never heard of the place. Glad we did. The food, although Tex Mex, was very good. The portions were very large (at lunch off the lunch menu) and the prices were great. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

The atmosphere was very cozy, the art on the was was cool. The staff was incredibly nice, and accommodating. Their service was also pretty quick, for a sit down restaurant. Their tortilla soup was amazing and one of the best I’ve ever had. Their steak quesadillas were delicious as well. I’d definitely recommend going, whether you’re traveling, visiting, or live here. I will definitely make my way back for more of that soup.

Our portions were huge. The wait staff was so sweet, attentive and fast. The typical “Texan creamy” green sauce was fantastic! The Queso didn’t wow me, and could use a bit more flavor. But, the entrees made up for it.
My Mom ordered the taco salad. Oh, man. We got “light lettuce” (don’t judge) and added queso on it and my Lord, yum! And HUGE.
My husband ordered the tamales. It came with charro beans and he specifically said he would come back solely for them. Best beans he’s had ever! (And he’s a army vet that’s travelled a lot.)
I had a fajita/enchilada combo. As good as it was I couldn’t finish my plate. Not because it was awful, but because I got so full on the street corn. Ahh!
Mexican food is my go to for gluten free meals. I will be back!
