I have been here many times, but I wanted to provide an updated review. I was here for dinner on a Wednesday night, and it was not too busy. We were seated by what must have been a new server. I ordered the Chicken Florentine Cannelloni and the house salad along with a glass of wine. While waiting for the main course he brought water and the focaccia bread. I really like the bread with the olive oil kept on the table as well as salt pepper and parmigiana cheese. After a little he brought out a crab salad that must have been for another table. The Chicken Florentine Cannelloni was okay, and the salad did not have the normal amount of mozzarella balls. I like the stuffed sandwiches I normally order better. The service was slow and the server was not attentive like what I have seen in the past. I could tell he was new and still learning. I should mention that this place is down an alley from the main street, this makes it hard to find. The parking is the municipal parking lot that is metered but after 5 pm I believe is free.

Wonderful atomosphere and delicious food with portions to last days! My favorite items are the bacon wrapped dates and chicken parmigiana. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend.

What a nice little restaurant. The food was delicious We started off with Portabella filled ravioli, then had 2 other entrees that I can’t remember the names of but they were so delicious. The portions were very nice. We finished off with dessert. Had cinnamon cake and chocolate chip cheese cake. Everything was fresh and so tasty. The service was excellent and atmosphere was very nice. Thank you for a delious meal ❤️

Exceptional! The service, food, and atmosphere is second to none. They worked with us to accommodate an unexpected delay with our reservation of 11 during Homecoming weekend. Our server was phenomenal!!! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions are very large! I highly, highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

If you want a really REALLY good flavorful meatball, Rose Marie’s impresses. We came into town after going around the North End in Boston on vacation and we were shocked on how mind-blowing the traditional flavors are. It’s definitely some sort of secret recipe they have because that is the most savory Italian-style meatball we’ve ever had. Super robust.
The Gnocchi alla Genovese with the Pesto Cream Sauce was also delightful. Very nutty and savory. I also love how they hand-bread their own Mozzarella Sticks. What’s also to die for is their Marinara sauce. Mellow, buttery, not astringent. I could eat it by the bowlful with their garlicky and herby focaccia bread. In fact, that might have been what the Tomato Basil Bisque might have been, but I didn’t care, it was just THAT good.
The only thing I’m not sure about is most of their dishes are Farfalle (Bowtie pasta). I’m not sure if you can ask substitutions for different kinds of pasta for each sauce. I hope that’s the case because I do want to try the Pesto Cream sauce with Fettuccine.
If you do pass through I-80 on your way to New England, make this your pit stop for dinner. Compare it yourself to the restaurants out there! Plus, the parking lot outside the restaurant is free after 5pm.
Just be careful, their prices did rise recently so it may chip at your wallet. Will be coming back. Delicious!!

I loved the atmosphere and the service. The staff are very friendly. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. I’ve already visited twice in the same week. The waitress said goodbye in Spanish.

I got a goat cheese pizza with potatoes and mushrooms was pretty good, but maybe it needed a few more toppings. Their tables are classy. They don’t accept tap payment, which is annoying.

First off, the hostess / waitress was not very friendly. I sent my broccoli cheese soup back because neither one of us thought there was any cheese in it. We ordered spinach dip, the bread was very good but the spinach dip didn’t seem to have much in it but tasted a lot of cream cheese or something like that. I ordered a spinach wrap that had bell peppers mushrooms and feta with it and it was soaking sloppy overcooked. I don’t even think they cooked it fresh there was no way to even cook that fresh and they used canned mushrooms. When I ask her if they were canned mushrooms she said “oh hun we cook everything fresh”
There is no way that any of that stuff in my wrap was fresh. I don’t even honestly think the two people cooking in the back even cared. We travel around to different restaurants trying new foods as a group and I would say this is a restaurant that we would not go back to.

Excellent atmosphere, amazing food and a great server! How does it get any better than that? My wife has Chicken Parmigiana and I had Tortellini Christiana. There wasn’t a bad bite in either meal. I would highly recommend stopping by this quaint and unique little restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Came here on a Friday night. Popular spot for locals and visitors . Our Hotel host recommended this place. Our waitress was very sweet, but her recommendations & knowledge of the place was inadequate. The service was not good, would leave appetizers plates and all on the table…didn’t ask us if we liked the food and so on…just bad table service especially for an Italian restaurant.
The bread for the table was very good & fresh. Enjoyed the tomato bisque.
Can’t say that for the entrees afterwards. Got the lobster ravioli (it didn’t taste like lobster at all, like old fish remains that were puréed together). It has a strong odor. couldn’t finish this…
Got the traditional Italian Florentine. I have no words… basic chicken that wasn’t cooked the best , was rubbery , the risotto tasted like porridge. Sauce was inadequate…
The sangria was just wine and juice …nothing special…
Maybe should’ve just stuck with getting pizza based off of peoples recommendations…
