Cute local restaurant owned by two brothers. Came for breakfast and ordered the chicken and biscuits, the veggie biscuits and the chorizo burrito. Everything was top notch and delicious. After eating it all, I would recommend the chorizo burrito with a side of gravy. My only knocks against them was the slow service due to short staff but they are extremely friendly. It’s affordable but small portions. And the fried chicken was just chicken tenders.

Nice variety of cuisine and there is always a local craft beer on tap. We appreciate the farm to table and quality. Great vegetarian and chef’s choice options. Friendly service too!

Delicious food, fantastic service and decor. Simple things are tasty in ways that I can’t remember from anywhere else. The waffle was light and fluffy, but also crisp. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and crisp. I’d give them more than 5 stars.

Nice concept restaurant. The portions are rather small for the cost of the dish. Ordered a veggie omelette and it looked as if it was a one egg omelette. The taste was good.

Delicious. Had the mushroom cavatelli and cake. Fantastic that it’s both local products and well-made.

Great, fresh, seasonal food. Perfect portions. Not so great service. The bored looking hostess told me I’d have to wait for my server for coffee despite there being only 2 other full tables, and then she proceeded to go behind the bar to fold napkins while 3 coffee pots sat in front of her. The coffee was delicious and dark though. Bump up the service and this place could easily be our go to. Find a staff person who is above millennial age maybe.

Nice people. However, for a simple breakfast we were not impressed. On a week day, late morning we stopped in. Only 2-3 tables occupied yet when we received our orders of pancakes, waffles and eggs the food was lukewarm. The butter would not melt. Pancakes and waffles were dry. Sunny side up eggs were half cooked with whites around yoke still raw. Wife did not get the milk she ordered but that is not uncommon in our experience; everyone makes mistakes. Reading other reviews, maybe the more eclectic dishes are their forte. I doubt we will return.

Just a fantastic breakfast spot. Their menu is fun and rotates frequently as well. I’ve never ordered anything here that I didn’t like. Food is always fresh, delicious, and at the risk of sounding corny, innovative. Can’t go wrong eating here.

Enjoyed a very nice breakfast. Had the veggie omelette of the day – vegetables with goat cheese…got it with a side of fruit which was a unique fruit salad of fruits I can’t remember right now. Also shared a waffle with my other guest – liked the different waffle toppings you can choose from. Pretty sure everything is made in-house – even the ketchup – which impressed me – never had house-made ketchup. A nice, chic yet casual atmosphere in the warm little downtown of Western Springs.
