We’ve visited Sol Toro twice this year, and both times have been great! On this visit, we ordered the guac cart and loved the option to add in roasted garlic, which was delicious. We were super impressed by the generous portion of shrimp in my fiancé’s fajitas, and my steak dish with enchiladas was delicious! The service was also fantastic. I’ll definitely continue to visit on future trips to Mohegan!

We eat Mexican often and we have some restaurants that are our favorite, so we tend to compare to those restaurants. But this place was good! Was it the best I’ve ever had? No. But it was good, and we did like the tableside guacamole. Plus the chips were really good too! The fajitas were good-I will say the manager was amazing as I sent my meat back because it was not at the temperature I requested. She immediately rectified the situation and went above and beyond. And they brought out some cake for our anniversary. I’d definitely return and try other foods!

Our server Erin was absolutely amazing! She saw to our every need. Making perfect meal and drink suggestions for the group. She also presented a next level knowledge of the restaurant menu. it was a just a joy to observe this young lady keep her section of the dining room in perfect giving each table individualized attention. It was truly beautiful first time experience but I can almost guarantee it won’t be my family’s last. Thank you

Just ok. Fun atmosphere with cool looking bar and fresh guacamole carts (so good!). The nachos were good. Pork belly tacos were just ok. Meat was tough and chewy but great flavor. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but would go again if I was already in the casino and craving Mexican.

Walking into a Mohegan Sun restaurant, you never really know what you’re going to get. Anyone who’s been there enough knows that not every restaurant is equal to their peers. An upscale Mexican restaurant is certainly a unique idea, and it was pulled off perfectly. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very warmly. The waitstaff was incredible, answering every question with ease, and our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and very filling for the price. The restaurant is also incredibly easy to get to, on the 1st floor just past Johnny Rockets and Starbucks. I highly recommend Sol Toro.

First experience and a great one. Group ordered several margaritas, the Campfire being my personal favorite. We got the 12 taco pack. Pricey, but extremely delicious. 3 chicken, barbacoa, crispy cod, and Carne asada. I can’t choose which I like most, all were yummy and unique. Also shared a flan for dessert. Husband got a Strawberry moonshine lemonade that was so good! Service was attentive, the bartender was knowledgeable of the drink menu and was quick. Again, pricey, but a memorable experience.

Beautiful atmosphere but as far as the food I’ve had way better Mexican food at 95% of the places I’ve been to and for less $. I wouldn’t say I regret going, just not a place I’d return.
