This Mexican restaurant has a very different feel than most of your traditional Mexican restaurants. It didn’t have all the Spanish decor and music playing. It has a very open dining room and accent lights along the walls.
We had a young man named Jackson as our server. He seemed a bit timid but provided great service. He made suggestions on dishes and made sure we had what we needed as the meal progressed.
My friend, who has frequented this place before stated that their menus were new. I have included photos of the food menus. For me, they weren’t very user friendly or organized well. Either way, we figured it out.
The dishes were generous in portions and very very delicious! I had the meal #44 which is the Naked Pablano Pepper which I got with chicken. My friend took Jackson’s recommendation of the #32 which is the Plato de Carnitas.
Great experience. Would definitely come back!

The send was excellent, margarita was big, and the chimichangas was good.
We went with a big group (7) we were seated in less than ten minutes on a Saturday night. We asked if they could put the football game on and they changed the channel for us. The server was accurate, attentive and personable.
Would definitely go again.

Decided to check this restaurant out while I was visiting in Montgomery, AL, and I will have to say… this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been in to in the South (so far… ). The waiters were nice and attentive even with the large Sunday crowd.
The food was delicious AND seasoned, and the drinks were nice, strong, and large! The combo lunch deals give you a great variety of options for a great price! The next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be back!

The service is exceptional. The price for the catering service is very affordable. This establishment has many choices to choose from for catered meals as well dine in options.
I received fast & friendly service from the moment I arrived.
I placed a catering order with Jordan, the manager. He treated me with respect & kindness. There was mix-up with the delivery time for my catering order. Jordan took responsibility immediately & corrected the issue:)

Great service and good food! We’re celebrating our oldest son 17th birthday here and we are enjoying everything. I couldn’t wait to do a review after we leave had to do one now while I’m here sitting at the table. We will be back and like others we looked at the reviews before we came and let’s just say glad we decided to give this place a try.

Back with another daughter/dad food discussion. So i recently took my daughter to this restaurant because two of my favorite Mexican restaurants closed permanently and I wanted to find somewhere else that would be a good spot. I looked at the google reviews before going and just thought to give it a try. I got the chicken quesadillas w/beans and rice. She got the steak quesadilla. I also got a margarita to go with my meal and I must say it’s a 10/10 for me. My daughter said it was a 9/10 for her cause she said she didn’t think the steak was seasoned enough. I tried a piece of her streak and I didn’t see anything wrong with it. Overall this place is a restaurant that I would go back to and I definitely recommend for folks to go check it out.

I’m going to be entirely honest here. This is a very popular restaurant and I’m not sure why. There are lots of Mexican restaurants in the area and I like all of them better than Sol. It’s not the margaritas, they are NOT good at all. The chips and cheese dip are really good, as is the fried ice cream. The meals themselves I’m still not excited about. I tried the chimichanga but it wasn’t crispy and fried, and had no sour cream or guacamole (you have to request them). The quesadillas are full of globs of this white gooey cheese they seem to use in every dish. I like stringy cheese so the gooey cheese isn’t appetizing at all. I tried the fajitas and although the steak was good they come in this enormous stone planter thing that’s been heated to 400 degrees (literally, we dripped water down the sides of it to watch it sizzle). The fajita salad is good, but short on lettuce and big on grilled onions. And more gooey cheese. We got tacos and the shells were soggy and disgusting. The shredded chicken was watery and unseasoned. It’s bad when Taco Bell can keep it’s tacos crispy, but a table service restaurant serves soggy tacos. I keep looking for something to make me like this place besides dessert.

Delicious food all made in house! You can definitely taste the freshness. Prices are good. The margaritas are not watered down – you can taste the tequila! Definitely putting this on our must eat at list. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, willing to take time to visit and make sure you are enjoying your meal.
