We ordered delivery, and the down size is that the restaurant doesn’t offer you utensils, or condiments. They don’t accept special instructions which is a disappointment. We had no napkins, only 1 green sauce and a sour cream. No forks or anything very unappealing. The food was flavorful wrapped tacky in foil

I’ve tried this place 3 times. The first 2 times, I just wasn’t a fan of the tacos. Today my brother convinced me to try one more time because they had Birria options now. And what did they forget? The consome!!! Like COME ON.
I’m giving it 2 stars because I’m sure the employees are nice, but I don’t recommend this place. There are plenty of other and better Mexican restaurants. ♀️

We go here at least once a week! They know my kids by name, and they remember my order! The service is always great! The food is all tasty! I am partial to the burritos, because then I have lunch the next day as well! It’s perfect for a group of four because the tables have four chairs, but there are a couple sets of tables. Love this place!

This spot is good and on a steady up and becoming H st. If you are from the DMV you know H st. Came along way. The food was at good proportion sizes. It was tasty with veggie and meat options. It’s in DC so pay to park in the street. Those parking patrollers are out there and ready to give tickets. But enjoy yourself out there. The restaurant gives good drinks as well. There are also good spots next to it. Enjoy it.

Sol is what chipotle aspires to be! Lol. No, seriously.. it is great and cheap Mexican food. I have been there a few times by now and have tried different dishes such a tacos, burritos and bowls. This time around I have chicken nachos and my bf ordered chicken quesadilla. They were both on point but I will say their guacamole is overpriced. They also had District Daiquiri —spiked slushees. They were good but super weak. Overall the experience was 8/10

My wife and I were in the district for the first time and did not have transportation. We walked from our airBNB to go to one restaurant, but they were closed, so, as we were walking, we saw this Sol Mexican restaurant and thought, let’s try it.
We were very pleased. The portions are very good, and my wife was able to eat hers for 2 days. I’m glad we stopped in.

This was my first time here and I gave it 2 stars because my Fish Taco was delicious. The quesadilla was ok. I saw some of the other reviews and I agree it’s not really well seasoned (the protein) the chips were a bit stale. My sister ordered a bowl it was barely protein in it for $10. I did not like the inside of the restaurant it wasn’t welcoming at all. Look like a old run down place. The kitchen is so small. The cashier was rude didn’t even let me add a tip or give me a receipt she just started ringing up the next person. So I asked her for my receipt and she called over someone else and that person asked me when did I order and what did I have. ♀️ I like chipotle better no Alero’s on U street is way better than this place.
