I recently visited Sol-Kalanits in New Brunswick, and I was very pleased with the experience. The service was good attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The food was great, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. It’s definitely a spot I’d go back to and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality breakfast experience in the area.

Great little spot in New Brunswick!
We stopped by Sol-Kalanit after a skills class at work and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a small place with about six tables—clean, cozy, and presentable. The food came out quickly, which we appreciated because we were hungry! We ordered two breakfast dishes and two lunch dishes, all of which were solid. My friend had the freshly squeezed orange juice, it looked amazing and fresh, and she confirmed it tasted just as good.
The only server on duty was polite and attentive, though a bit on the quiet side. Our only real complaint was with the eggs: I asked for over medium and got well done, and my friend’s over-easy eggs were also cooked too much. Aside from that, everything else was great.
One thing to note: the bathroom is located outside the building, but it was very clean and well maintained. Overall, we’d definitely come back when we’re in the area again!

Oh my God, what a phenomenal meal nice place very clean even got a mint at the end of my meal. Coffee is so absolutely phenomenal table 5 is the best table. It’s nestled in the corner away from the door away from the countertop. THEY EVEN HAVE RECEPTACLES IN THE WALLS BY THE TABLES SO YOU CAN PLUG IN YOUR CELL PHONE OR A LAPTOP.

The service is exceptionally friendly, bubbly, and poppy in terms of customer service and friendliness.
This place is very welcoming and definitely worth the visit.
FOOD AND PRICE!
You have a wide range of control over your food choices and how you want them prepared. The home fries are the best I’ve ever had!!
The French toast is made to perfection; it’s fluffy.
The eggs come with cheese inside (optional), and it was incredibly smooth.
They also offer healthy and sweet organic drinks, and the best part is, it’s affordable given the inflation!
Please stop by when you’re in NJ or just passing through! No other place around can compare.

Small home in the wall cafe offering good breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Coffee was very good ☕. Nice variety of platters. They also offer fresh squeezed orange juice.

A charming place with delicious breakfast and lovely service! We walked here in the AM as it was near our hotel. The breakfast platter is absolutely delicious, as is the coffee. I have been meaning to write this review months ago, but life got in the way. Wish places like this were around when I was a student on campus but happy to see that it’s really changed here. Affordable too! Recommend!

Delicious breakfast today at this local shop. Huge and tasty. The fresh orange juice really hit the spot. And the coffee is strong. I had the French toast and eggs special hold the meat because I’m vegetarian (though I eat eggs and dairy). They had no problem accommodating my request.

Place is on the small side and can be a hassle to find a table. Depends on how busy they are. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Everything is clean. Food was great with a large menu full of options. Wait time was long maybe due to large party at the time we went.
