Service: Our waiter was incredibly kind. Food came out rather quickly
Food: This was one of the best salsa and chips I’ve had. The chips were thin and warm and the salsa was incredibly fresh, no heat (which isn’t for all). Good kick of tomato and cilantro.
I can only base the meals on what I ordered which was one enchilada and one ceviche tostada.
The enchilada was cheesey and a perfect balance of red sauce. Corn tortillas soft and overall it was very flavorful.
The ceviche was fresh and generous on shrimp and guacamole.
The prices are good and the atmosphere is cozy. The only thing I enjoy is lower lighting and it was quite bright in here in the evening.

It was my first time visiting Sol de Mexico, and I had a great experience. The food was delicious and very authentic, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for how much we ordered. Two people were able to eat a lot without spending too much, which made it even better.
I also want to mention our server, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Great service like that truly makes a difference and made our visit even more enjoyable.
Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food at a great price with excellent service, I definitely recommend Sol de Mexico. I’ll definitely be coming back!

weird menu, cheaper to have the burrito dinner than lunch burrito. Ordered the steak burrito and it was stuffed with fillers, lots of lettuce and beans very little meat. Literally squished to half the size when I picked it up to eat it. They had some decent hot sauce and free chips and salsa with Mexican cokes, but at $15 you expect more meat.

Nice family owned restaurant. Great feel. Wonderful salsa and hot sauces. Guacamole is really good. Free chips and salsa. Food was delicious. A bit pricy but I think that’s just the norm now. I have celiac disease and am very sensitive to gluten. I did not get sick at all. We would definitely visit again.

Our first visit to Sol De Mexico restaurant was a mixed experience. First, the waitress was great, but the menu was overwhelming, with too many options, which made us question the freshness of the food. While the dishes were alright, we definitely had better.
We visited on a Sunday, and the restaurant closed at 3 PM. We were eating our meal at 2:20 when the waitress unexpectedly brought out an electric vacuum cleaner and began vacuuming the area. This felt rushed and unprofessional, not to mention it wasn’t very sanitary.
Additionally, we were seated in a booth by the window and noticed that the decorative window material was disgustingly dusty.
Lastly, the old live plant in the window could also pose hygiene concerns. If you’ve owned a plant, you know they can attract pests like aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, and fungus gnats.
Is this really acceptable for a restaurant?

Everything I had was delicious. Tried a sample of many items. The meat choices I tried were chorizo, pork, shredded, and Steak. All were good. I think my favorite was tied between the pork and chorizo. Also had the opportunity to try three salsas. The spiciest was great with the shredded beef. The green verde went best with the chips for me. And I like the red salsa with the rice and beans. All my food still less than $20. Plenty for lunch tomorrow too.
Wait staff was very plesant and suggested some salsas to try as well.
