Soku is a very cute restaurant with tasty ramen, udon, and sando options. I ordered the spicy black garlic ramen and shred spicy edamame with my friends. I thought the broth was delicious, came out piping hot, the meat was a bit fatty, but the meal was very filling. It wasn’t super heavy in garlic flavor which was ok and I added a little bit of chili oil for more spice which was great. The spicy edamame was delicious and came with little pieces of peppers and onions. My friend got the beef udon and I would definitely get that next time because it was amazing and super flavorful!
We luckily got a table quickly because it was semi busy and parking was very difficult. It’s located in a busy area near other restaurants so make time to find a spot to park. The staff were nice but didn’t answer the phone earlier in the day when we called. I would definitely come back.

Need something warm on a chilly winter night? Ramen hits the spot and Soku Ramen Bar is a great place to grab a bowl. We tried the chicken ramen and it was both filling and delicious. No frills here. Just tasty broth, noodles, bean sprouts and lots of chicken — more so than what you find in many ramen houses. Prices are reasonable. While there are tables to eat on-site, it’s easy to order for take out. One note: Parking can be veey challenging. Overall, definitely worth checking out.

First time at a Ramen place, dumb luck I picked a good one on this rainy Tuesday afternoon in October. Based on other reviews I ordered the Spicy Black Garlic Chashu Ramen. When it arrived 19-minutes later I knew it was going to be tasty and it was delicious. Lightly spiced and well priced at $14.99.

We ordered chashu ramen and spicy chashu ramen. Both ramen bowls taste flavorful. The chashu was delicious and easy to bite. The noodles’ texture was okay. The shop has some seated tables.
The plaza has limited parking.

We came from Fresno and decided to stop here for some ramen while in town. No glaze, not trying to be influenced by recency bias, but this is easily the best ramen ive had to date. The pork was perfect and the service was excellent.

If you want delicious and affordable food, this is your spot. $15 meals. We got the spicy black garlic ramen and chicken katsu sando, and both were tasty delights that hit the spot. Sapporo bottles available at $5.50. The workers are really kind and attentive. This may be one of Sacramento’s secret gems if you don’t mind aesthetics and love good eats!

Came for lunch on a weekday and had quick and good customer service. Lots of people came in after us and were also helped quickly. The pork sandwich was great and I was super impressed by the quality and it was a good portion. We also ordered the pork rice bowl, it was decent but needed some chili sauce or soy sauce added to it to make it more interesting.
