The service here was great and we loved the spicy spare rib appetizer and the sake. I can see this place being fantastic if I was between classes at FIU with an appetite for Thai and could afford the prices. The papaya salad was also very good. We also had the beef tallow fried rice but it looked nothing like it does in the photo of the menu and just isn’t worth $22; that’s kind of an insult to be honest. It was a small piece of beef over a bowl of rice. With sake for 2 people and a 20% tip I spent over $100 (after having the ice cream comped) and that just seemed unjust given the portions and what you could get for $100 at the fritanga a few doors down. The Pad Woo Sen was tasty but barely had any chicken it. Flavors are good but prices are too high given how much protein is involved. A friend said that this was superior to Lung Yay Thai and I could not agree with the statement.

What an amazing spot! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is fun and welcoming perfect for a night out with friends. All the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was packed with flavor. My personal favorites were the spicy crispy fish salad and the Tom Yum shrimp both so fresh and full of that perfect balance of spice and tang.
The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the dishes came out beautifully plated. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again!

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. Crispy Pad Thai was perfectly cooked, with a nice balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, fried dumplings added a wonderful crunchy texture that complemented the meal beautifully. Tom Yum Shrimp was equally impressive rich, fragrant, and spicy with just the right amount of sourness, and the shrimp were fresh and juicy. Crab Fried Rice was another highlight fragrant, flavorful, and generously filled with tender crab meat that made every bite satisfying. On top of that, the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine.

I had such a wonderful experience at Soi Thai! The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish tasted authentic and beautifully balanced. The presentation was also on point, and the portions were generous without being overdone.
The service made the experience even better. The owner and cooks were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind from start to finish. The staff checked in just enough without hovering, and everything came out promptly.
Whether you’re a Thai food lover or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend Soi Thai. You can really taste the care and quality in every bite — definitely a place worth coming back to!

High Quality, portions on the small side. The location is beautiful. Tom Yum soup is absolutely delicious with freshly grilled shrimp and authentic Thai flavor, I just wish there was an option for a bigger size since it was 1/3 of the container and only had 4 shrimp. I’ve had almost all of the Tom Yum soups in Miami and I do have to say this one is the BEST. Sour, Sweet, Umami, and some red thai chilis for a light spice. Get an appetizer to go with this to get full !
Also got the Mango Sticky Rice and this is divine. Also one of my top favs in Miami. Not too sweet, with an unsweetened coconut cream to top it. Fresh, smooth and sweet mangos !
I’ll be back to try all of the menu eventually and i’ll update this

This is a sister restaurant to Larb Thai-Isan. Portions were smaller than expected and more expensive which is expected in Miami. I really like an open kitchen concept but the smokiness and oil/greasy smell wasn’t circulating well in there, made it hard to breathe and enjoy our meal. Especially with such a small dining space they have. Nonetheless, I enjoyed their beef tallow fried rice and Khao Soi. I would come back, if I’m around the area, and sit further away from the kitchen.

I will be returning to this establishment and try out their other dishes. Some things that they need to improve:
better cutting in the pork ribs, the cartilage is too hard and getting one in every bite is annoying. Fix the sauce as well. It has too much of one ingredient, not sure which one.
Cut the spring rolls in half. Saves people from having to wait to eat them and burning their mouths.
Fish chicharon was on point, good job. First time I’ve seen it in a Thai restaurant here in Miami. Well balanced and extremely tasty.
Kai soi is missing depth, it has good taste on the curry. But everything else is slacking. The braised beef over powered the dish and it’s just not balanced yet. Very fatty and just not what I expected.
The coconut kat (forgot the name sorry!) was… just not my style, I’ll leave this to personal preference.
The crab fried rice was on point. That was awesome! I will try this again.
