Walked in and place was packed. We were able to get a table. They are still working on details, but it’s already looking great. Staff was very attentive and polite. Our server, Iliriana, was extremely polite and knowledgeable of the menu. All food came out as expected and was delicious and generous portions. Will for sure be visiting again. Keep up the amazing work!

Love Soho. Vibes vibes vibes. Their original location by the beach is awesome, but this one will be super cool during the warmer months where we can enjoy their rooftop lounge. Good food and good drinks. What’s not to like?!? Definitely Recommend!

The BEST spot for a night out with your digital camera and the girls!!!Came here for valentines and for a birthday dinner and it is BEAUTIFUL. service was outstanding had multiple servers and employees helped us get group photos! Good birthday celebration and the upstairs atmosphere is amazing. I came here valentines and the music was so loud I couldn’t even think but this time around it was perfect!! Food was amazing and a good place to hangout and enjoy time with friends. They even have a DJ playing upstairs!!! Love this location will definitely be back soon!

We went to SoHo this past Saturday (11/8). I am aware they just opened, and I like to give new restaurants the benefit of the doubt, however there were some issues worth noting.

We made a reservation for 2 people for 6pm and were seated promptly downstairs. We quickly ordered drinks, then appetizers and dinner.
It was not very busy at 6 PM, but it did pick up around 7 or so. Our sushi appetizer came within 10 minutes, but our hot appetizer (Crab Rangoon) did not come until about 40 minutes after we had ordered it.

We watched multiple tables around us order, get their food, eat, and pay their check, and we still have not received our entrées. The restaurant was not at full capacity by any means and appeared to be well staffed (many servers working).

Our waitress was kind and apologetic for the wait. At 8 PM (2 hours after being seated) we asked our waitress if the entrées were actually being cooked at that time (or we were going to just cancel them). The entrées came out at about 815.

The food was very delicious, but the wait made absolutely zero sense for a restaurant that was staffed, our orders were simple (Pad Thai and beef tartar) and multiple larger groups around us ordered after us and received their food well before we did.

We will likely try SoHo again but it may be a while…

Beautiful location. Great service. Busy but staff worked us into the rotation quickly so we didn’t wait for a table very long. Food was decent, honestly not anything wild or worth the price in my own opinion. Large portions though, I will say that, and good environment for a date.

Like Running Into an Old Friend

Remember that friend you loved spending time with, but they developed some annoying habits that made you drift apart? That’s been our relationship with SoHo—we’ve always loved their North Myrtle Beach location on the Intracoastal Waterway. The setting is stunning, the food consistently solid (think McDonald’s-level reliability, but actually good), and the live music vibe is special. Even rainy off-season days feel magical on their covered patio with those adjustable screens.

But then came the friendship dealbreaker: a mandatory 20% tip calculated after tax (making it effectively 23%) for service that ranged from mediocre to hostesses scrolling their phones. For what we were getting, 15% would’ve been generous. So like any reasonable person, we avoided them—or resorted to takeout when we couldn’t resist.

Enter the Carolina Forest location: the plot twist.

Walking in here felt like that movie moment when you reconnect with your old friend and realize they’ve changed—for the better. No mandatory tip. Different energy—less beach tourist, more sophisticated neighborhood spot. Older crowd, hipper atmosphere. The food? Exact same quality as the other locations (which is great). The staff? Actually friendly and attentive.
They even offer valet service, though we felt terrible for the young guy freezing outside both visits. Management: get that man a warm jacket and coffee!

After four years of loyalty (and considerable spending) at their other locations, it’s like this spot remembered what friendship is actually about—not killing the relationship over a cash grab. We’ve found our SoHo home again.

One friendly reminder: Calculate tips on the pre-tax amount. We notice, and it’s not cool.

We had a nice early dinner on a Friday night! The parking lot is small, which might cause issues at peak times. Happy hour is also only at the bar, so we will have to take advantage of that next time. We got 3 really fantastic cocktails throughout our meal and started with the crispy tuna rice. The rice should be fried harder, but the serving size is huge for the price. We got two specialty sushi rolls which are good sized and taste clean and fresh. Often times specialty rolls can get muddy because there are so many components but these were really great! My fiancé got the chicken hibachi and really enjoyed it. I order the spicy chicken pad Thai and was really underwhelmed. The pad Thai isn’t balanced, with no salty our sour – just very sweet. I took it home and added my own fish sauce and more lime and it was much better. If you’re looking for authentic pad Thai this is NOT the place. We also never received our soup and salad with our entrees, but didn’t realize it until we got home. That’s our fault, but the sushi came so quickly that we didn’t even notice! Our server milda, was FANTASTIC. Everything came quickly and looked spectacular. We will definitely be back for sushi and drinks. It was up scale and a really nice evening.
