The cashews and overall seasoning on the biryani were perfect. I have tried biryani from many places in Kitchener, and yours is easily one of the best. The saag chicken was excellent as well, and the naan was soft and fresh.
It feels like I accidentally picked two of your top dishes. Thanks for the great meal. It genuinely made my day.
While the seating area was a bit tight and not ideal for large dine-in groups, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous, I would say definitely great value for money.
They also have a party hall available, which looked like a great option for hosting events or celebrations. Overall, nice place for casual dining or takeout, especially if you’re looking to enjoy some Hakka food.
We drove all the way from Georgetown, picked up my sister from Kitchener, and did the whole back-and-forth mission just so she could try it. And honestly… zero regrets. Totally worth the trip.
Also, shoutout to our server so sweet, so friendly, just made the whole vibe even better.
Saffron never misses. The more I say, the less it feels. If you haven’t been, go. You’ll thank yourself later
After moving to the cambridge, we were looking for a restaurant with good food. Finally we have found one. The masala tikka paneer is my favourite one. The gol gappe and the dahi puri is so good. Their bread is so delicious. We have liked everything we have tasted. Just the chilli chicken was okayish. But from now on whoever is visiting us, we are taking them to saffron for the dine out. We love it here. A must visit restaurant.
The food is so yummy— I ordered Veg Singaporean Fried Rice, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg Manchurian Dry, Gobi 65, Tandoori Momos, Mango Lassi, and Butter Naan. The Tandoori Momos were nice and soft, with a tasty filling. I expected it to be fried but I think they were steamed, however they still tasted good. The Gobi 65 was amazing, probably my favorite item ordered! It was so crispy and delicious. I was debating ordering this or the Gobi Manchurian, but the Gobi 65 is so scrumptious! The Veg Manchurian is also really yummy, and not too spicy. The Singaporean Fried Rice is very flavorful and different from a usual fried rice. The Paneer Tikka Masala is quite tangy and tomato-flavored. It was fine, but I might try a different side dish next time because the paneer texture was not the best. The Butter Naans are soft and decadent, and the Mango Lassi is really delicious. I usually do not expect good Indo-Chinese food from restaurants like these, but the Indo-Chinese selection here is great! I am also happy with the number of vegetarian options offered in the menu.
The ambience is really nice, and the restaurant is overall clean. The bathrooms are also pretty clean. The sofa seats are spacious, which is something I do not often find in many restaurants. The staff members were friendly, and our waitress gave us recommendations and advice on what to order, which ended up being a success. The prices are quite reasonable for the large portion sizes and wonderful flavors!
I definitely suggest Kasturi to anyone who wants delicious Indian food!
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a function. Kul is a truly great person, and the staff is amazing. Thank you for making our day so memorable!
