An absolute gem! Found this place on a whim as we just happened to be in the area and we were absolutely blown away! Everything we had was so good. Would definitely recommend the glass noodles with beef though. The place is pretty small but it’s perfect for couples or small groups.

Very lively spot. Prices were reasonable. Food was delicious and they had a wide selection of drinks to choose from.

The space was a lot smaller than I expected so it was a tight squeeze and quite loud inside. Definitely reccomend this place more for either a couple or a group of 4 or less.
Our group of 6 was pushing it. We got really lucky that a table left right when we got there or else we would have had to wait for a long time.

February 26th, 2026. We had just left pinballz arcade and wanted to eat. Went to a local pub but their kitchen was already closed. The bartender Greg told us about this restaurant. I enjoy Asian food quite a bit and I have been to multiple Korean restaurants here in America. This place all those small nothing fancy. Kept clean and laid out had a welcoming feeling. The staff more pleasant easy to work with. Attentive and let us know when they were doing last call on alcohol. Had the bibimbap with bulgogi and it was incredible. My friend had kimchi with tofu and he really enjoyed it. Served with a half gallon of water to your table. We never went thirsty. But one thing I highly advise to try. The pan fried dumplings. Oh my chihuahua. Perhaps one if not some of the best I’ve ever had incredible flavor.

This is our favorite late-night Korean spot! The place is small and the music a bit loud but the food is delicious and served with care. It has a cozy, authentic Korean feel great for catching up with friends.

I’ve been to South Korea before, and while I’m not Korean myself, this place really reminds me of the food scene there. Most of the customers are Korean, which adds to the atmosphere.

They also serve soju and traditional Korean drinks, Friendly staff.
Definitely worth trying!

I had Kamjatang here; As someone who has lived in Korea and knows Korean food very well, I can say that it was good; however, honestly charing $3 for a tiny Kimchi side dish (see the picture) is quite wired and uncommon, my first time EVER seeing no side dishes are served in a Korean restaurant and then they charge for it!

Nice Korean restaurant serving a variety of Korean dishes and alcohol options. The ambience is super cool, music was a bit loud, the food tasted all sweet and mostly the same. I was expecting it to taste more authentic hot but it was the opposite. Chicken was supposed to be spicy but turned out sweet. Everything tasted the same as it had the same sweet sauce in it. The only thing that stood out was the corn and cheese. Korean blueberry wine was good and sake was good too as always. Overall a good place to hangout but food needs improvement.

“What happens at SOHA stays at SOHA.” Well, that’s what happens when you drink too much soju at SOHA, haha. You forget what happened. I’m just kidding, but I’m not kidding at the same time. SOHA is an incredible place with incredible staff, so let’s get into the review!

Design/Space: This spot reminds me of LA to Korea, where we call them sool-jibs (술집) or pochas (포차), places where you can drink and eat street food (SOHA has a lot more than street food) with your close friends. The vibes are perfect, with the photos all over the walls, Korean movies, or songs blasting in the background/TVs. They can arrange tables for larger groups, but it can get pretty packed quickly, so plan accordingly.

Food/Drinks: The food is incredible; paired with soju, it hits the spot every time we’ve been there. We have ordered so much there, and they allow takeout, too. The fried chicken to galbi is so good the day after, haha. SOHA is one of the better spots in Austin for authentic Korean food and drinks. Go crazy with it, but the corn cheese and soft egg to start as apps is our go-to, and some soup and meat dishes pair nicely. They also have a special somaek (소맥: beer + soju) contraption that swirls together for you to have at the table – check it out for larger groups!

Staff: From the owner to the staff, everyone is incredibly hard-working, quick, and respectful. I am biased towards the owner because he gives to so many people, so I will always tell people to go to SOHA because he offers customer service and pushes his staff to provide.

Opportunities To Improve: Less soju, hahaha. I have a hate/love relationship with it, but it comes with the overall experience. Call Uber if you plan on drinking.

Pretty small place but the food is packed with flavor. Corn cheese is a classic, it was sweet creamy and cheesy. The la galbi was good not too sweet. The pork belly was too dry. I could’ve passed on the chicken, since I’m more of a bone in kind of gal. I usually don’t go for kimchi fried rice but it was my fave dish of the night.

The bulgogi was good, but it would have been nicer if it came with more sides. Sadly the pork was very bland; it didn’t taste good without the sauces on the side. The lychee soju we had was top notch. I’d definitely get that again. There was a decent amount of parking available so that was good.
