The food was SOOOOOOOOO good, I had the garlic bread and the lunch shrimp scampi. We ate all of the garlic bread in like 5 minutes. Omg.
We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was busy so the service was a bit slow. The people that were sat after us had the drinks and the bread before our waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. The food was so good however, we didn’t really care about the waiting times.

My favorite date night spot. Amazing service, romantic atmosphere and huge portions for kids . Always recommend the Gouda pie pizza.

On Nov 12,2024 my husband wanted to take me out for our anniversary and since we are new in Commerce Georgia, he didn’t know where to go. He searched in Google about gozy restaurants in Ethans and he found De Palma’s Italian restaurant. We get there @6 pm and we enjoy a nice quiet dinner. The service was great, and very profetional. The food was delisioso! I asked for the food not too be to spice and they did a great job with the season, the food was delisious but my favorite dish was the 12 mini mash rooms fell with spinish and cheez, I have to mension that all the food was great. I liked the portions of the food. Oh!! My mango sorbet,as a desert was Muto bueno . Thank you, I highly recommend De Palma’s Italian restaurant in Ethans Gargia.

Came here for the first time and since I’m new to Athens I wanted to try a cozy place instead of some boring fast food joint. I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the two other people I went with. The staff are friendly and well organised, we even got to our 1:30pm reservation a little bit early. The food is great, I absolutely love the way they made the chicken bake sandwich and the ravioli looked delicious. The only real issue we had was with the olive oil vinegar dip, which was a bit underwhelming. I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m hankering for Italian food and I’m in the area. 10/10, would recommend.

DePalma’s for dinner tonight? I’m in! I spent all day perfecting my calzone order and thinking about their delicious bread with oil and balsamic dip. Instead, we were met at the door with, “Closing at 3pm today.”
Y’all… weeks ago, the Barnett Shoals Arby’s was out of food, and then the Taco Bell across the street messed up my order on both items. What is up with restaurants on the east side? Are they deliberately anti-customer? They do know that we will exchange currency for food, right? And that they have to be open in order for us to order?

The pictures I could not add: stuffed mushrooms (they were so good) and so was the bread. We did love our waitress. She was very nice and made me feel welcomed (which can’t be said for the rest of the workers). The only two major complaints we have are:
1.) Being made to feel as if we walk around with freaking flies in our pockets and dump them in our drinks. The waitress shared my lack of wanting to get another sprite and or a free dessert (the manager bluntly said “oh, I don’t know how that happened we keep all our doors closed… well, Mr. Manager, apparently not because a freaking dead fly ended up in my drink and I didn’t notice until I saw something floating in my drink). Instead of owning the mistake, he instead offered a free dessert (which don’t get me wrong, if I had my appetite, I probably would’ve took him up in that. But, honestly who would want a free dessert after finding a fly in a drink they were drinking on?).
2.) My noodles were over cooked (and didn’t have sauce all over them.. the plate you barely see in the first picture, is the plate I used to remove the overcooked noodles.)

I always get the Pasta DePalma I think is what its called and I get the chicken. Their Pasta is good, but its lacking a lot of flavor. I usually have to salt and pepper it down really good before eating. However their garlic bread is absolutely amazing and the appetizer we got was great! Not too bad the pasta dishes can just tend to be a bit bland. 8/10.

Best eatery on Eastside! Depalma’s is an Athens staple. Best food, better service. Try the bread sticks as an appetizer and Pasta Depalma, manicotti, lasagna, ravioli, the best broccoli Gouda soup ever, and a great atmosphere! The pizza is delicious and the drinks are on par. Go see them. It’s an Athens MUST!

I love DePalmas! The service is always friendly and the food is always amazing! I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. They are amazing. There is a good wine and beer selection here. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. A perfect place for lunch or a date night. Make sure to leave room for desert. Having coffee and a cannoli is the best way to end a meal here.
