Across the board from the cooks to the inventory to the managers to the servers to the food itself to the atmosphere to the ambiance, they know how to treat customers. They gift you water with icy mediately on a hot summer day they allow you bread with samba, mixed with Italian food like it’s poetic. One of my favorite spots to just rest for lunch, dinner dates. I’m blessed. I’m blessed because this society chooses to grow. Keep going

This cute little Italian spot in Little Italy was just what we needed to satisfy our ravioli cravings. We hadn’t tried this restaurant before, so we decided to give it a shot. Marcelo was our waiter, and he was fantastic—very friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of.

My fiancé ordered the cheese and spinach ravioli, and I had the ravioli di zucca (butternut squash in sage butter). Both dishes were good, though not the best ravioli we’ve ever had. The interior of the restaurant is super charming, designed to replicate an Italian grotto, which added to the experience. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!

Surprisingly delicious foods at here! We came here at a Saturday night and it was very busy here, but luckily we got two seats at the bar. The service here was so slow…. We waited for a while and asked help to order. They only have wines and the one I wanted wasn’t available. Then the bartender recommended a really bad wine and I didn’t want it. Anyways, this is the reason why I gave this place a 4 star not 5. Otherwise, their food is really delicious! We ordered a lasagna, it’s small than I expected but it tastes good. The most amazing food is their wild mushroom & pea fettuccini with brandy sauce, such a wonderful pasta! I love it.

All the food was amazing but I still think about the pistachio cheesecake all the time.

Sogno Di Vino is located in San Diego’s Little Italy. We, (wife and I) were with another couple. The gentleman spent a couple of years in Italy and was searching for Arancini, which he hadn’t been able to eat in the last 22 years or so. He was extremely excited to see it on this menu. That was the deciding factor to try this place.

It was incredible. One of the best Italian eateries I’ve ever tried. In fact, 10 days later my wife turned to me and said, “I can’t keep thinking about eating at Sogno’s. I want to go back.” So now we are planning another trip to San Diego around eating!!

We tried the Gnocchi with pesto sauce. While a pretty simple dish, it was excellent. lots of flavor and the pesto was certainly the highlight of this dish. It was perfectly balanced. The presentation was spot on.

We also tried the Risotto Alla Piemontese. If it says truffle, my wife wants to try it. This was a beautifully constructed dish. The Risotto came in parmesan shaped like a bowl. As the parmesan warmed up, the shape slowly disintegrated, but the warming parmesan with the rest of the dish was next level excellent. The truffle flavor was very, very light, which will often disappoint my wife, who LOVES strong truffle flavor. The other flavors and the entire combination of flavors compensated for the lighter truffle flavor. This was an ensemble piece. Each flavor contributes to the whole dining experience.

The service was excellent and patient with us… They were friendly and added to the enjoyable dining experience.

I’m sure there are other really good restaurants in Little Italy. I’m pretty sure we may not try them….

One of the best American Italian restaurants I’ve frequented in the west coast. For food was authentically cooked to perfection. The pistachios cheese cake and classic lasagna was as good as it gets. Real loud but handsome Italians were here while I was eating, so it got a little loud as they expressed their happiness while eating good food with friends.

Can’t speak to the food, but the service at the bar was enough to make us rethink sticking around for it. Sat down and watched three staff members behind a very small bar do everything but acknowledge us for a solid five minutes. Just as we were about to bail, someone finally wandered over — so we decided to just grab a quick drink.

Ordered a beer, which was poured and put down (out of reach of me) without even asking what my fiancée wanted.

Had to wave someone down (again) just to get her a drink, which was about another 5 minutes…..and closing out somehow became a 10-minute expedition.

Maybe the food’s good? But the service made it clear it wasn’t worth finding out.

Great Italian food, fun street views. Service was a little slow, had to ask for refills on beverages. But overall a great place to eat Italian food

I was in San Diego for a quick turnaround. So many people told me to check out Little Italy. I’ll was so overwhelmed by the many restaurants during my search that I just picked one. It was windy and raining so I didn’t get to enjoy the outside seating or beautiful outside setting. I had an early dinner because my flight left out at 10:30 at night. I was seated almost immediately and served bread and water. The one dish that was touted in the reviews was the Arancini (appetizer). And, baby, it DID NOT disappoint. Honestly, I could’ve (and should’ve) stopped there. It was so delicious and very FULFILLING. Cooked perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend them. I had the Farfelle con Pollo as an entree. My server suggested, but honestly, it left more to be desired. This area and restaurant is on my list to try again. Preferably, when time and weather permits me to linger longer and enjoy…

The bread with red sauce as an appetizer was excellent.

There was a special on the menu for vegan ravioli. You’ll see in the photo, it was a plain ravioli with fake butter sauce, stuffed with veggies but no vegan cheese. I wouldn’t recommend this particular dish – it felt very oily and I found up asking for extra red sauce to eat with it.

My partner did like his regular, cheesy ravioli. I’d go back and order a regular pasta primavera to give it a second shot!
