I’m from Corpus Christi. Was looking for some real Mexican food and luckily my wife found this place. Legit Taqueria. Abuela rolling fresh tortillas on the spot. Liquados were phenomenal and refreshing. Green hot sauce was bomb.

My experience was very good. I walked up and asked if they had mexican taco plates with rice and bean. They said yes and that is exactly what I ordered. 3 different kinds cactus with beef,fajitas and barbacoa. Super Delicious too! Very friendly and even gave me free chocolate covered raisens after I payed. I definitely recommend this place #1 in my book!

We are here for a weekend softball tournament and I always try to find away to support a local business. I found this on a review site and said I’m going. The minute I walked up I was greeted with a big smile, I let them know I was from out of town and the next thing I knew I was giving a taco to sample! The tortillas are homemade like my grandmother’s!! I have been to a lot of taco places but this one is ranked at the top!!! #1 The potato and eggs melted in my mouth. The Barbacoa taco was amazing!!! If you’re in the area I recommend stopping by and giving this family business a try!!!

I really wanted to like this place because of Sofy, truly such a sweetheart of a lady. I had 2 back to back bad experiences, the first one my food was spoiled, which I gave it chance being that it’s a food truck, it may not have placed on the grill properly, so I reached back to the lady about the situation and she cooked for me a whole fresh new batch, and which was delicious, but when I went to grab a tortilla I found 3 to 4 roaches in my bundle of tortillas which ruined my whole appetite, had me gaging all day!! I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I will not be returning any time soon. They have some housekeeping to do.

So the food is awesome. I’ve been there a small handful of times and enjoyed it every time. Last time though bit of a negative experience that I think that can be fixed. All 3 plates had hair in them in differing amounts. Their hair was tied up but maybe a hairnet can remedy the issue.

Todo estuvo delicioso! This food truck had so many options to choose from and everything was sooo good! We tried the quesadillas (homemade tortilla), tacos, the burrito. I had the tacos (chicken (shredded), fajita, pastor) and was very happy with my meal. They have tables for you to sit and enjoy you meal in their nice little patio. The staff was super nice to us as well; the food came out quick. 10/10 this place is a must try!

Taco shop has a relaxing environment. Could use maybe a little bit of background music. Food was good, Natural Flavored waters where good. Maybe natural fruit would have been better, but over all. I would recommend the spot.

I finally had a chance to try the breakfast tacos at Sofy’s. I had the loaded taco with beans, eggs, cheese, and bacon. I believe that the tortillas are hand-made and not purchased from a nationwide vendor. The tortillas also seemed fluffier compared to other tortillas offered by the chains nearby. The bacon was surprisingly still crispy even after the drive to the office yet not over cooked. The hot salsa was a great addition to the taco. It definitely had some bite but wasn’t too spicy. I would have liked the other ingredients to stand out a bit as they seemed to play a lesser role in the overall flavor.
It’s a solid breakfast taco if you are nearby and prefer something other than the chain restaurant offerings.

Their tacos differ from most of the taqueria we have visited as theirs is moist and juicy. However, their menu was limited on Sunday morning, probably because it is the weekend. But, nevertheless we enjoyed the generous serving of food, good service, and welcoming ambiance.
