We have been meaning to visit Sofia for a while now. On Saturday, we finally found some time to stop by. The restaurant is cute, cozy, and decorated with fun decorations. When we visited, they had old movies playing on the televisions at the bar – I really enjoyed it. This is the perfect spot for a low-key date night. Our waitress was friendly and thoughtful throughout our visit – it is some of the best service I have experienced on the Seacoast.
Their menu features a variety of delicious pasta, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers. We shared a flavorful Caesar Salad with Anchovies and an order of Garlic Bread. The bread is fresh and baked every day. Be sure to try out the garlic bread. It was flavorful, and we will stop by to pick up a loaf next time we make Italian food at home. For our mains we ordered the Sausage Arrabiatta, and the Shrimp Scampi. Prices are on the higher end, but the portions are gigantic – we left with full stomachs and leftovers that will last a couple of days. We cannot wait to return.

First timers on vacation. The portions were wild. Wildly good. Our server was extremely pleasant, the food was reasonably priced and TOP notch. Atmosphere was spectacular, what more could you ask for?

Get some delicious “to go” pre-made meals here to have in your fridge or freezer when you don’t feel like cooking but still want that homemade meal taste. Their Restaurant opens at 4:30 and the portions are huge, food is delicious and staff is great. This is a little hidden gem with a great atmosphere even cloth placemats. Don’t forget desert their homemade treats are also a must!

This restaurant is one of our favorite spots for a perfect meal. The waft of garlic as you walk in entices you to their rich tomato sauce, but don’t overlook the steak tips. They’re fabulous. From the soft Italian bread to the tiramasu, you’ll want to keep eating.

Such an amazing cozy local spot with great food, very generous portions and a truly welcoming staff. If you are looking for some good Italian food this is the place to go to. Come hungry because the portions are huge and everything is very reasonably priced which is a plus. An overall amazing experience from start to finish!

Friends brought me to Sofias for dinner…it has been awhile since I had been there. We ate in the restaurant..the service was great and the food outstanding. Very large portions…delicious from beginning to end….great bread and butter. Besides the North End the food was wonderful. The sauce so delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was fantastic.
