To start, this restaurant has a really great atmosphere. The specials were really good and reasonably priced. But the service, from Andre was really lackluster. We sat for over an hour and half and only had one glass of water. The avoidance of our table compared to his party was a miss for me. He did not seem like he wanted to be our server nor want to assist us when we needed anything. But I’m sorry that’s not service, as my partner is manager of a a breakfast cafe. Which is disheartening because we love supporting local businesses and we just moved into the Lofts at Sodo, and we love sushi as we are frequent at Kura revolving sushi bar and was hoping Sodo would be our new Sushi spot but I don’t see that happening.

Came on my lunch break and I ordered their shrimp and noodle lunch special which was $14. It took half of my lunch break to prepare. The host was pleasant. But when I got back to my job to eat my meal the portion size was ridiculously small.

Omg this place was so gooooooddddd!!!! My sushi rolls were amazing, miso soup fantastic and washed it all down with a Sapporo draft. The music was so soothing and it was a calm atmosphere. My server was so sweet and nice. Def coming here again!

Really relaxed atmosphere. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. All the sushi tasted fresh to order. Their fried tempura cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this establishment!

Went here after a workout and it was the best decision ever. Nothing like good food, scenery, AND laughs to go along.
Gabriella was hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever dined with. She kept us laughing the whole time and it was good vibes. She made the experience a lot smoother with her knowledge of the menu and answering all of our questions and even helping with recommendations. She made each moment memorable, from the way she prepared our drinks, to making sure we were enjoying the meals by constantly checking up. 10/10 !
We were seated within seconds of walking in (no appointment). The food was absolutely delicious and didn’t take long to arrive once we ordered. Everything we had was tasty. From the Miso Soup, to the California, Tempura Chicken, and Mexican Rolls, as well as the Mt. Akina. Nothing missed hitting the spot!
The restaurant has a nice ambiance to it, very relaxing. We sat right next to a huge fish tank, and were able to see their projector outside that has amazing images shining onto a wall outside the restaurant and goes with the music being played inside (I believe) . Fantastic work !
Highly recommend coming here and if you’re lucky to get Gabriella be ready to have your stomach full and hurting from laughing so hard. Great all around !

My friend and I were in the mood for some yellowtail and we were in the area so we decided to stop at Sodo Sushi bar. When we walked in, we were politely greeted and sat. Ian was our server and he was amazing! My friend and I ordered the Hamachi shocker. She ordered the Ramen bowl and I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and added cream cheese. The menu was a little misleading with the Hamachi shocker. on the menu it says it comes with seven pieces but we both only received six. Ian said it’s based on weight so I think that’s one thing that needs to be changed. They were absolutely delicious though. I think they could add more ponzu sauce on them . My rolls were good and Very simple. My friend said that her Ramen bowl was not good at all. It tasted like it needed some seasoning. She gave it a 2 1/2 out of five. I tried a couple of noodles and I wasn’t impressed either. I wouldn’t recommend this dish. We also had the edamame which they brought out because the food was taking longer than it should have to come out. The edamame was pretty decent. I just think they need to be in some sort of sauce. If anyone is looking for any recommendations, I would definitely recommend the Hamachi shocker.

Lunch spot for me during the week. Cozy interior, good lunch specials. (Smaller portions) Have gotten the Pho to go several times. Make sure you check your items if everything is there. Packaging varies with Pho. I also love the Vietnamese curry. So simple and so delicious. Their side salad is so good, please ask for more dressing on the side. Soup is on point. I have only gotten basic rolls there. They were delicious. Outdoor dining is available. Service has been good the few times I have been there. Parking is a challenge, they have a garage that is shared with a few medical buildings and the shopping plaza. A few street spots if you manage to snag a few.

Simple. Modern. Great. Quite possibly the very best Sushi Rolls in Orlando. Black Widow roll was absolutely delicious. Sat at the bar solo and had pleasant conversation with Paul – a tremendous sushi chef.
