Sodes Perk Central is a family operated business. We serve homemade soups and salads using our favorite family recipes. Sodes is known for their hand cut fries, Reubens and Mississippi catfish fillets. Hand dressed tenderloin, hand patted burger, cod and chicken fillet are all served on a fresh baked bun. We have a build your own salad or wrap menu. We have a full breakfast menu, with a build your own omelet option. While we cook you can enjoy our attached gift & gourmet store filled with unique toys, puzzles, candles, christian gifts, jewelry, Watins, dips, salsas, tea, coffee, meats and more. There is also a liquor store featuring Iowa craft beer, wine and spirits along with all your favorite national brands.

Why are there not more people here over lunch?! We ordered the special, catfish and fries; it was easily the best I’ve ever had. I only like fish when it is fresh. Not a crum was left; it was all gone before I could take a photo. The dessert was Bourbon Pecan Pie, amazing!

Nothing fancy. A small family owned cafe in back of their small grocery store. Friendly service and the food was good. I had the special of the day a bacon cheeseburger with bbq sauce and an onion ring with a side of fries. Standard pub style menu. Note: I ate 1/3 of the burger before I took the picture

Cute place with AMAZING food. Homemade french fries were incredible. Fun store attached with great gift items. It’s worth the visit! We had a Reuben and grilled cheese with bacon and tomato on Texas toast! We also had a piece of key lime pie. We will be going back when we come back to town. Yum!!!!

I’ve eaten here only a half dozen times so far and every time has been excellent. The French fries are awesome. Had a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was nice and thick. Highly suggest this establishment to everyone.
