King Salmon doesn’t have a ton of places to dine at, but the Sockeye has super good food!! The gunslinger burger is the most delicious burger I have ever had and I am not exaggerating. The fries are perfect and large, and they have plenty of menu options. The dining area is separate enough from the bar that it feels comfortable and inviting even for those like myself who don’t drink. Any place in the area is pricy because it’s remote Alaska, so this place is worth a visit if you’re in town.

Cute little bar to get some food and drinks at while you wait for your next flight. They had a good variety of food and beers. The service and atmosphere were great as well.

This is the only establishment in King Salmon that serves food.
I understand there is a limited selection of food in such a remote area so maybe this explains the food quality, but the evening wait staff were terrible.
When we went for brunch, the food was great and had slightly better service, however when visiting for lunch or dinner, the service was nonexistent and the food was sub par, especially for the price.
Be prepared to spend at least $30 per person for a meal not including any alcoholic beverages.
On a positive note – the garden salad was one of the good things I found on the menu.

Had an extended layover in King Salmom decided to give Sockeye Saloon a try. My wife had the Reuben and I had the mushroom & swiss. Sandwiches were excellent and the fries were excellent. The ice cold tap IPA was a great addition. Friendly staff too!

Very good service and very good food! Stayed in King Salmon for a night and this was one of the only places that serves food. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. Not a ton of vegetarian options, but still good selection. Had a miller lite, but apparently there is a good beer selection. All in all happy with the choice

Delicious food and enjoyable place to hang out. While your options of places to go are extremely limited in King Salmon, this place would do great anywhere, as it has great food, service, and a enjoyable atmosphere.
Additionally having TVs in there is a huge plus as I was able to enjoy watching NBA games here as there wasn’t any service to stream them on my phone.

Sockeye Saloon is the first place that will catch your eye in King Salmon. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They’ll typically have evening events like Darts or Karaoke. The staff is friendly and helpful and always provide a good time and atmosphere. If you’re stopping in King Salmon for any reason, you’ll want to belly up or party at the Sockeye.

Good little bar for drinks and a game. Food is good and the beers cold. Great place to hang out if your flight cancels since the airport is right next door.

There are basically no options for dinner, so you take what you can get when you’re stuck in King Salmon. Food is okay but the drinks are incredible. Get the lavender lemon drop!
And if you happen to see the Watters Edge food bus across the parking lot – RUN THERE. She leaves at 5:30 on some days and you don’t want to miss her for the most incredible dinner ❤️
