My friend and I came here to grab some dinner on Sunday night. Not many tables, only one server who was also hosting. It took us a while to get seated, and another 15-20 minutes for our server to come check on us and bring us water. I put in an order for an app, which was never brought out. The food itself was not good. Both of us ordered wraps, in which the chicken was extremely discolored and unappealing. Overall it just wasn’t a good experience.

We were sat at a table pretty quickly, but waited almost 15 minutes before a server even came to offer us water. When we ordered drinks on of the flute glasses for the bubbles we ordered was dirty and the server gave us an attitude when we asked for a new glass. Food was okay.

First time here. I was a little apprehensive, because my son and girlfriend picked it out as a new place in the area that they haven’t been to.
To my totally surprise, the food was 100! Hot fresh flavorful yummy. The staff was on point. The atmosphere was great.

Social 52 is fun place to go out at night. I went for dinner with family and it was just ok. The host was too busy eating food at the host stand to seat us properly and pointed to our table. Our server brought a carafe of Diet Coke because she’s “bad at refilling sodas,” she said. We didn’t see our server again until towards the end of our meal. All three of us ordered food requiring a spoon but werent served them. We had to ask the bartender for spoons and received a soup spoon, a table spoon and a teaspoon. The attention to detail was lackluster. The staff was nice but again, not very attentive. The food was good but the fettucine alfredo leaves something to be desired if ordered without protein.

Ate here with my family during brunch on a Sunday! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, it was pretty good but nothing spectacular. My dad ordered the chicken and waffles and said it was super good! Also 3 of us shared the mimosas and it was really awesome! Our server Riley answered all of our questions with insight and she was super nice! I would come back again with some friends.

We had a great time at Social 52 — the service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the drinks were on point. We happened to visit on trivia night, which added a fun vibe to the evening. However, we felt the trivia questions could’ve been a bit more diverse to keep everyone engaged. We lost interest pretty quickly, which was a bit of a letdown. Hoping to see the trivia format evolve to better reflect the diversity of the crowd. Still, a solid spot for a night out and we’ll definitely be back!

I am pleased with our experience here. They took our group of 11 with 15 minutes notice after our reservations elsewhere fell through. Some of the food (shrimp and grits and sausage and gravy) were overcooked. The food was a bit under seasoned. The breakfast biscuit had no sign of hot honey and we ordered more than one. Should be drizzled over the chicken not added to the biscuit, it drowns out the taste. The atmosphere was a perfect brunch spot, drinks were good with unique flavors and names. All of the food was presented well (shrimp and grits were a bit watery and didn’t present well). Biscuits were hard and some burnt but the flavor was good and we could tell they were from scratch. Lemonade is Minute Maid. For the price it was worth it but I would just hope for more attention to these very unique dishes. There is a flavor explosion in the menu description when reading but it doesn’t always translate to the cooked food. I would go again for drinks and to taste non breakfast food, but not likely since there are so many other amazing food places in Richmond. Having a large party sometimes sets the tone for service. I understand the difficulty that comes with giving us superb service, but I expect a certain level. Our server seemed annoyed and preoccupied. She didn’t check on us and we frequently had to bye for her attention to have simple requests filled for our table (condiments, salt, missing items & entrees)

Everything was good! I had the chicken and waffles. The syrup had a lil spice to it but it was a good balance with the meal. The drinks were awesome. The wait staff if really cool!

Nice ambiance. The food came out really well though my plate, out of six, was completed wrong and had to remade. It tasted well made and fresh when it eventually came out. No kids menu. Bathrooms was clean. No dedicated parking but you can find on the street pretty easily

HORRIBLE!!! I’ve been in food service for over 30 years, this was the worst experience! Had family in from out of town brought them here and was so embarrassed!
The chicken and waffles- waffles were great, chicken was trash!
Grits- we each ordered grits, only received two orders
I could go on and on but have already given this horrible place too much time!
