First time here and last time! Major disappointment! Probably the worst Kraut dog I ever had. Hot dog itself was not cooked all the way the Kraut tasted old. Let’s see the Captain crunch milkshake. It tasted like clumps of butter. It was not blended correctly. Should have went somewhere else for lunch.

I am new to the Ohio area and stumbled upon this AMAZING location. Great staff , service and food Manager even came out to say hi and ask us how our might has been. We live 1.5 hours away and will DEFINITELY making return visits to this location. They are family owned passed down thru generations. Everyone there takes pride in what they do and shows!. This is a MUST stop location for anyone in or traveling through the Kent, OH area. Brought back many great memories of going to A&W stand when I was a kid.

Went on Sunday and ordered a foot long with ketchup and cheese curds. Waited 25 minutes for food – ridiculous for a “fast food” joint and a basic order. Besides the wait time (which is nothing new for this location), I got home to find chili on the hot dog. I called the store to ask for a free foot long next time I visit since I was headed back to school 45 minutes away and didn’t have time to go back. An employee and a manager said the owner would call me back … he never did. The only requirement to work here is to be incompetent. Don’t waste your time, money, and frustrations – just go to the Ravenna location.

Food was good and priced were decent. Coney dog, double hamburger and small fry for $9. My only complaint is the “lights on for service” i had my lights on because I wanted to add to my order. The 2 ladies walked by me no less than 7 times. They did not stop for me and see if I needed anything which I did. I wanted to spend more money. Also my server had a bad look on her face like she did NOT want to be there. I work in customer service. Fake it honey.

We spent $62 on 2 coney dogs 1 foot long coney dog and 5 kids meals and drinks. My husband ordered a rootbeer freeze they first forgot it thwn gave him a float. We live 5 minutes away. By the time we got home everything was ice cold. And the taste of the coney dogs were horrible no flavor at all. When we called to complain they couldn’t even offer an apology.

A&W is like Dairy Queen, known for one thing, but should be known for their excellent burgers. I do wish this place could be open year round, other locations have done it! Though word to the wise, either park or dine in, the drive thru backs up and tends to be hella slow especially during peak hours.
