Stopped here for a quick lunch on Sunday, great service and delicious food! My first time trying Moldovan cuisine. We got the jasmine tea, borscht, and split pea soup to start. We got the pork chop and pan fried salmon with polenta for our entrees – it was served with a platter of garlic dip, sour cream, and feta cheese. Great presentation and a cozy ambiance, highly recommend!

Easily the best restaurant in Fairbanks. Super cozy vibe with great music, and the staff is always so friendly. Everything feels warm and welcoming. The crepes with sour cherry and cream were our favorite dessert — so good. Definitely a place we kept coming back to while staying in Fairbanks.

I stopped into Soba Restaurant recently and really enjoyed it. The place has such a quaint, cozy charm—it feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in. I only tried the meatball soup, but it was excellent—comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Sometimes simple dishes done well say it all. I’m already planning to go back and try a few more things on the menu.

Delicious Moldovan food (I’m from Romania so it reminded me of home). We had a good wait, but it was well worth it. Wine was good, food was good!

Everything pertaining to my experience at Soba was phenomenal. Couldn’t be happier trying Moldovan food for the first time. Jackqueline did an exceptional job as my server and went above and beyond ensuring I had a great dining experience. Would happily recommend Soba to others visiting Fairbanks.

I can totally understand why this is one of the top rated restaurants in Fairbanks. So tasty! Great service. Love the sangria. The pastry appetizer and the Zrazy are must tries, but my #1 fav thing I tried were the cherry crepes. Soo good!

We visited this restaurant in the heart of Fairbanks and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating and a calm, non-chaotic vibe. The food was of good quality, prices were reasonable, and the whole place felt very clean. A great spot for a relaxed meal.

Very good food and excellent service staff. Somewhat pricey. Recommended for a genuine cultural experience. Visit the store next door for some more regional snacks.

Delightful restaurant with kind staff, delicious fresh food that feels like a home cooked meal! Don’t miss it – my husband loved the Mămăligă and I enjoyed the Pârjoale. Both were so tasty and hearty, perfect for after a cold day adventuring. I have a gluten allergy and they had lots of options well labeled and the staff was very responsive to my needs. The chef even made me a mini pavlova for dessert since I was gluten free! The imported Moldovan wine was also fantastic, what a fun traditional experience – warmed our stomachs and our day! 10/10 – one of the freshest meals we had in Fairbanks!

The server was quick and attentive towards us, and the service was fantastic. I got a jasmine tea, they leave the pot at the table, and my boyfriend got an Americano that was one of the best that he had in a looong time. The food was so filling, but delicious! I was a little full, but still wanted to try the dessert and did NOT regret it. The peronis come in this gorgeous clay pot, there’s so many in there!
