We were looking for a diner in the area that served waffles and found this place. When we arrived, we couldn’t find waffles on the menu, so our waitress checked with the cook. She came back and explained their waffle machine was giving them trouble, but they’d try to make one for us. Thankfully, they got it working and served us a fresh waffle! All of the food was tasty, and the service was great. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I had a bad experience at this diner. The food was good as was the service. My gripe is with the owner. I got a breakfast entree with a couple of cups of hot tea. I asked for a large amount of Splenda on three occasions. On the second occasion the server advised me that the owner was complaining about the amount of Splenda I was asking for. He later came to my table to complain directly to me on thst issue. I advised him thst he should never complain to a customer. I’m only one out of many that asks for the amount of Splenda thst I want. I believe thst if you are that petty to complain about such a trivial thing, then the owner should sell the diner and select another occupation. In short , Splenda costs only 8-10 dollars per box of Three hundred packets. In light of this experience, I will not be fining here again. I fine at four other diners , and when I ask for a large amount of Splenda , they are very happy to oblige. Rule of business etiquette dictates that you should not complain to a customer because of their particular request. I’ll never dine here again. I give this diner three black dots.

We’ve mostly been here for breakfast, and it’s always great. The staff is very friendly. We stopped by last New Year’s Day for the pork and sauerkraut and it was fantastic! They have a nice pie list, and I can’t wait to get back and try some!

A bit of an interesting hole in the wall that probably hasn’t been updated since the 70s. The local photography on the walls up for sale was nice to look at. Food was okay enough. But what was really odd was we were offered dinner rolls before our meals came out and were then given a big kaiser roll each (like the kind you would put a full sandwich on). Maybe they ran out of actual dinner rolls and improvised? Lol

We like eating here but lately the kitchen and a couple waitresses are not doing a good job. I always get my fries and pierogies well done and crispy. That’s what I ask for, it’s not what I get. The kitchen loaded my steak sandwich with fried onions when I ask for raw onions instead. There’s one waitress that gets every order wrong. My $5 burger on a Thursday ended up costing $12! I hope this year will be better because we do like coming here but we won’t be much longer if things stay the same.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Tried their BLT and a turkey Reuben sandwich and everything was good. The staff are kind and helpful.

The service was excellent and the timing was great. Unfortunately, the food itself was awful despite being fresh and cooked properly. It didn’t look or smell appealing, and the plating felt careless. The atmosphere was clean and the overall vibe was nice, but the price didn’t match the quality of the meal. I didn’t feel it was worth what I paid.

There was no seasoning whatsoever in the food. We had sirloin steak, salmon, cheese burger. Steak was rubbery, baked bean tasted like it wasn’t fresh. Good thing was the fries and mashed potatoes was okay. Had they put some salt and pepper on their food, it would have been so much better. Anyway, the server was friendly and service was good.

I came here as a family of 6. We had to call our waitress over to get refills. The French onion soup had all the gross parts of the onions, the onions were not caramelized and the broth was tasteless. It took over 45 for our food to come out and then it came out in waves not all at once. We were not checked on and the food was terrible. 0/10 been coming here for years. Will not be returning. Also another family(of 5) got their food before us and came in after us

As soon as we walked in, it smells like you stepped back into the 70’s at your grandma’s house. Service was extremely slow, and there was not too many people sitting down. Menu is extensive, but the waitress stated that everything is okay, and that she would even eat it. The food was very bland. It seems like a small town diner where the waitresses know the customers and their stories. Not a diner for the visitor in the area.
