This was our first time there. It was very nice. The food was good. Music was low enough that you didn’t have to scream over it. The apple pie was really delicious. The only downside was that they did not offer a veterans discount.

Don’t waste your money. Prices are sky high. We had 2 burgers w/ potato chips and 2 iced teas. $48.00 after tip
Burgers are paper thin and served with Ruffles.
Never ever again. Not a tight ass, just won’t pay over price for a 1/4 lb burger. McDonald’s gives more meat on a standard cheeseburger.

Beautiful place. Good food. Service good n sometimes just ok. Some servers disappear after food is out and you have to track someone down for a check or refill. Happened a few times. Please servers check back sometime!

Wonderful views of the lake… Sat outside enjoying a wonderful dinner with my husband❣️ Staff is very amazingly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious . Enjoyed an ice cold German Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen from the Tap (even though it was misspelled on the Menu) to finish a beautiful Saturday ❣️ I had the Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon over Rice and my husband had the Prime Rib with Fries both were excellent ❣️ Presentation of the food was non existent but please keep in mind you are dining at a Tavern and it won’t keep us away from visiting again nor give it less than 5 stars ❣️ Come hungry the portions are really big

Wasn’t really impressed. Food all seemed from-frozen (I dont know that there was anything on the table made in house) and came out cold.
Nice facility with lots of seating, and the service was friendly.
Came for dinner on a Nov weeknight, and probably won’t be back, but giving the benefit of the doubt that it might be better experience when it’s warm and you can sit outside by the lake.

So, this was the second time we’d been here. The first time was ok, nothing to write home about, just ok. We were here on January 10th with friends, they wanted to come here, and had quite a different experience.
Our server was a young college student who was very friendly and professional. At one point, my husband was asking him for something and one of the floor managers walked up behind him and HIT HIM on the shoulder with one of those sturdy check trifolds – while my husband was actively speaking to him!! He hit him! We were shocked. Later, I asked him about it and after thanking me for noticing the assault (technically, assault and battery on a subordinate), he said that was “normal” behavior for the managers and that several employees are planning to leave as soon as they can. I’m sorry, what?!? The managers regularly assault and disrespect the staff and they still have jobs? I asked whom I could speak with to complain and he said that there was no one who would do anything. They’d tried. Other servers who overheard us agreed that it’s a horrible place to work. I don’t know who needs to see this, but while we will never return here, I sure hope somebody over there gets the message. I told him the next time the manager does that, he should call the police and press charges.

My sister order a steak well done but it was burnt well done and me and my niece order Quesadillas and the chicken was dry
No flavor at all ask the waitress about it she went and brought the manager and he wasn’t trying to replace our order so I said I wasn’t paying he reeked of alcohol and decided to replace our order of something else finally but the disrespect was awful there!!! Went there a year ago and the food was awesome. But whoever they rehired for the cook and manger is awful.. won’t ever return unless there is someone under new Management and new cook and I hear better reviews

Let’s start with the good news,. A 1970s fishing lake bought by a husband and wife team. Opened the restaurant in 2015 and working out the kinks beautiful building. Beautiful lakeside view super clean building. Amazing little lake with swans and birds and large koi… I’d come back just for the view. Grab a beer with a friend. Talk about the sports game or something… Now for the cons, nothing that we ordered was bad but unfortunately nothing that we ordered was awesome. The other couple got the sirloin steak dinner with a side salad and a loaded baked potato. We split the Southwest egg rolls and I got the quote” fish log… All the food came to the table hot and looked very appropriate and again was not terrible.. but most of it as indicated by our server comes from their food delivery company and they either fry it or warm it to serve to the customers. Which probably is why there was nothing on the menu that the server could tell me was a must order cuz I always go for server recommendations and I could not get one from our server… And lastly, there was only one mistake with the order. My aunt for 52 years has eaten steak Pittsburgh style or is rare as she can get it or she won’t eat it even when she cooks at home,.. customers don’t need to be reminded five separate times that you wrote down medium rare… When she’s never ordered anything but rare in 52 years it was a mistake. Mistakes happen. All it needs to happen is fix it. Not remind the customer that you wrote down medium rare five different times as if to say you ordered wrong,.. they do seem to have random specials, barbecue night, trivia night and more. I will definitely go back but more for a brew and the view then warmed up Cisco/ gfs food products…. Also a little bit pricey for the quantity of and level of quality of food
