Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

  4.5 – 3 reviews  $$ • Breakfast restaurant

Most breakfast & brunch restaurants start with the same script: eggs, batter, coffee & a big ol’ griddle. We’ve found scripts are a lot like pancakes, they’re best when flipped, so we’re always looking to turn the best breakfast classics upside-down & on their side. Stop by for delicious pancakes, french toast, benedicts, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, bacon & more! From paleo to vegetarian & vegan or dairy free & gluten free friendly, we’ll happily accommodate food allergies & diets. We want each morning to feel like your weekend & happy hour rolled into one, so our restaurants feature a full bar with alcoholic beverages. From mimosas to bloody marys, margaritas & local craft beers, we’ve got cocktails & brews covered!

Vibrant, retro chain serving a seasonal menu of creative breakfast & lunch fare, plus cocktails.

Everything is incredible and well-deserving of five stars but the service is beyond that! Everyone is so nice and welcoming (think the nicest people you’ve ever met and then go one step further), the food is amazing, the seating is great both indoor and out – for our first day ever in Denver, I can say I’m blown away and will return every chance I get! I rarely leave reviews, good or bad, but this one was worth it. Warning: the mimosas are top-notch and will definitely sneak up on you 😉

We absolutely loved our visit to Snooze! The service was great, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was very nice especially being located inside of Union Station! The bacon but different is definitely an experience especially if you love bacon. I do think the breakfast burrito had too much hash in it but otherwise was very filling and tasty. Overall, had a great time and experience! Definitely worth a visit.

Really nice little place ! Good food, expected prices (~25$ per person) Staff were very friendly and attentive. I got the avocado benedict with bacon and enjoyed it a lot ! They give you a pretty large portion size, so come hungry. My friend got the strawberry pancakes which I had a bite of and they were delicious ! My only complaint were the tables were quite wobbly and unstable and I embarrassingly broke one of their salt shakers since I bumped the table ! (Dear Snooze owner(s) I am very sorry) They had a large variety of drinks, both hard and soft. I enjoyed the strawberry lemonade a lot and the chai was fantastic. Otherwise a great experience I hope to visit again next time I’m in Denver ! 🙂

I was thrown off by the plant powered menu, I thought it was completely vegan but it wasn’t. Still, they had an avocado toast I could have without eggs on it but options were limited. The vegan pancake was basic. My boyfriend tried the pancake flight. The pineapple upside down pancakes were good.

So the food is good, but not “the best” by any means. My biggest complaint is that nobody knows where the tables outsiders food should go. Once I placed my order, 5 minutes after I received an omelet that I didn’t order that was for another table. The second time was the same situation but reversed, the table opposite of me received my food, once they realized they gave it to me, which is great that I got my food, except I said no mushrooms and there were a LOT of mushrooms. I bought it up and they apologized and corrected it (even gave me a family discount to make up for it). Now after 3 attempts of being able to eat my food, it’s just “okay”. I expected the crab omelet to be better but it was kind of just meh. The sauted asparagus in the omelet is a weird choice, you aren’t really expecting anything to be crunchy in an omelet but hey, some people really love asparagus. At the end of it all it’s just a fine/okay experience. From the reputation I expected better honestly, but oh well.

Cool little place located in Union Station serving up traditional breakfast along with some Mexican options. I ordered the huevos tostadas, which tasted almost as good as they looked. I’d say they are a little under seasoned, but a little salt, pepper, and hot sauce made it perfect. A delicious breakfast.

A wonderful and unique stop while in Denver! I am rarely hungry in the morning so I often don’t finish a morning meal. However, this food was TOO good not to eat every bite. I had the Love You Elote Breakfast Pasta and my partner had the breakfast burrito. The pasta was a really unique and DELICIOUS dish that I can’t recommend enough. Fans of asparagus will enjoy the interesting (and tasty) addition. The breakfast burrito was also very good!! To drink, I had the new Kimchi Spice Bloody Mary. It had great spice and flavor (and the what part – good snacks)! Their menu can seem overwhelming at first with the wife variety of choices, but I recommend going with something you won’t find elsewhere! You won’t be disappointed.

I only had an OMG Pancake, an orange juice, and a beer before boarding the train so I can’t say much. The OMG pancake is creative and delicious, albeit a bit too sweet and a small portion. The orange juice is fresh. I would have loved to give it 4-5 stars if only the service/waitress was a bit friendlier and better. I understand that it’s a famous and busy restaurant. But I don’t think it’s ok for waitresses to avoid making eye contact with customers just because they are busy. There are other busy, fine restaurants that waiting staff makes you feel like they see you and got you, and will come back to you as soon as they have a moment. But that’s not what happened to us. I had to hover over my chair all the time to get her attention and even when I did, she would just look away. Her manner isn’t so friendly either but we just tried to put up with that.
