As walk ins, we waited around twenty minutes for our sandwiches. But it was busy, and all the employees were working hard and fast. Our sandwiches were super good. I shared a gluten-free steak sandwich with my one of my kids. The gluten-free bread has an up charge of $3.50, but it’s so good it doesn’t taste like run-of-the-mill gluten-free.

The staff is and has always been wonderful. I love the sandwiches. My son has a SEVERE peanut/tree nut allergy and they are extremely cautious and accommodating. They care about their customers and making quality sandwiches. Love how the menu has variety but isn’t over complicated. We snarf it down every time!

I took my sibling here, who has a sever allergy to peppers. We explicitly told the cashier about the allergy, who said that this would not be a problem. Once we receive the sandwiches my sibling eats a fair portion of theirs when they taste something spicy, their sandwich was cross-contaminated.
We brought this to the servers’ attention, and they refused to take responsibility, saying that it wasn’t possible. We didn’t have time to argue so we left quickly, throwing away our meal. We received no apology nor any other communication as we left.
We ordered the same meals we normally get at other Snarf ‘s locations without problems.
I am writing this review from the emergency room. Not happy with this. I’d strongly advise against eating at this Snarf’s location if you have allergies.
Edit: Snarf’s marketing reached out to me and is compensating me for this experience. I’ve updated my ratings to account for this and a prior more positive visit to this location.

Rating this 2 ONLY because Briana was extremely helpful with correcting the experience. We came in and ordered two sandwiches. After waiting 15 minutes and seeing 4 people that ordered after us get their food we knew something was up. It was ONLY after 30 minutes that someone finally told us they lost our order. During this time of waiting I watched 3 employees standing around talking to someone else that appeared to work there but was off the clock. Not surprised an order can be lost in that time as I have worked in the food industry for 2 different large well known chains. We finally received our food (despite one of the sandwiches was still wrong) and one of the employees offered a bag of chips for us waiting for over half an hour. I told her how I watched them standing around talking and that just a bag of chips would not suffice. Briana then stepped in and stated that she was planning on providing a full refund for our troubles and also offered chips, cookies, drinks, etc to make up for anything. THAT is how the situation should be handled, she was extremely polite, respectful and you could tell the entire time watching that she cares about her job and wanted to make sure she got everything caught up. That is the kind of staff that you guys should be employing, not kids who want to talk and mess around and don’t know how to handled situations like this. Thank you greatly to Briana for wanting to make sure the situation was handled properly. To the owner of this location, please make sure Briana is made aware that she did an incredible job making sure everything was handled properly. Unfortunately we probably will not return to this location due to the awful first impression we had of it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you charge $15 for a medium (7”) sandwich it better be damn good…spoiler alert it wasn’t. Steak and provolone sandwich was as dry as I’ve ever had with a truly pathetic amount of meat, onions and cheese. The bread was dry and crumbling and tasted like it’s been on a counter for the last few days.
As someone who had Snarfs at their original location and frequented their other Boulder locations over the last few decades I’m shocked it’s fallen this far.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Snarf’s. The food was decent enough, a bit overpriced but otherwise fine. However, I had the displeasure of interacting with an older man who was working the morning shift. I had brought my grandma to the shop, and he messed up her order. When we brought this to his attention however, he proceeded to BERATE my 93 year old grandmother despite the fact that he gave her corned beef instead of pastrami. The man seemed to be a manager of the establishment, which is very disheartening to see. I will never be returning to this establishment again and neither will my grandmother seeing as they hire the most awful, rude people to run it. Do better, Snarf’s!

Overall it was a 5/10. I liked the sandwich except for the fact the pickles were just not.. not pickles..? Like I felt like they weren’t sat long enough. Just straight up cucumber tasting. Also there was celery on my sandwich which was no where mentioned on the page I ordered from?

I tried Snarf’s for the first time today and was so impressed! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and a hello from an employee named Seth. He was so nice, and his energy was contagious. When I said I had never been there before, he took the time to recommend a couple of sandwiches and seemed really genuine. I decided on the Italian sub and loved the subtle kick, which was a nice little twist to a basic Italian sub.
The vibe is so cute, and the experience is totally different than other sandwich shops. Seth was the highlight of my visit and is the kind of employee that any employer should strive to have on their team.
The Italian sub was top tier, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere is awesome! My only complaint? No black olives! Come on, Snarf’s, you’ve got to fix that! 🙂
