I LOVE Snapper Jacks! It’s amazing that there’s still a place with an awesome salsa bar, and you can get lunch for well under $15. The food is always fresh and ready quickly for pickup. My personal favorites are any of their tacos, especially paired with the Aztec Salsa, absolutely delicious! Please, don’t ever leave, Snapper Jacks! You’ve become my new go-to lunch spot. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help.

Charity
I ordered online(to-go) from the parking lot(there is plenty of parking), and got it to go. I got 2 battered fish tacos, and it came with a bag of chips and 2 options for salsa/sauces(I chose the shack sauce( its not anything special or sectet, it’s just baja sauce.)
The good: Service was good, friendly, and fast, and the place was clean. The salsa/sauce bar was stocked with loads of options. They make their chips in house and they were great(I only ate a couple was trying to save room for tacos).
I also used their bathroom and it was very clean.
The bad: I’m not sure what everyone else gets, but I got old, dry pieces of fish on my tacos. I went to a park a few blocks away to eat and there wasn’t reason for “fresh” food to taste like this. The cheese was all clumped together and wasn’t appetizing(no need for cheese on fish tacos). There is no way what I was served has ever won a single award.
All in all, it’s fairly inexpensive and the chips and salsa are good, but I won’t be back.

Never have I waited 40mins for my food at this location. The cashiers need to keep an eye on orders.. I know accidents happen, tickets “lost” by the cooks so they said however the front counter needs to be more vigilant of their customers. Until I was the only one inside they asked me for my order # to then realize it wasn’t even made. Very disappointing becuz I love snapper jacks but I will drive further if this continues to be an issue at this location that’s only 3 mins away.

Order at register and wait for your number to be called out. They have great selection of sauces. I ordered the steak quesadilla a la carte (without rice and beans). Food and portion sizes have always been good.

Fish in your burrito? I want sure about it but I had to give the signature Jack’s burrito a shot. Suffice to say I was quite happy with my choice. The space is nice and open, the food is great, and the staff is swell. Parking may be a struggle at peak hours, but it is worth the effort if you make it out this way.

Snapper jacks is one of my favorite places in Ventura. This is where I bring all my friends who come from out of town.
The primary reason: fish tacos! The fish tacos are amazing. If you’ve never come here make sure you try the fish tacos. I highly encourage you to get them battered. With the crispy shell. Let’s be honest we’re not coming here because we’re counting calories, we’re coming here because we want fish tacos.
No I want to be clear. I other things here than fish tacos. I also really enjoy the chili Verde burrito. I like to get it without a tortilla. The chips here are amazing. They have a lot of salsa options. Right now you have to request what you want but that’s OK the staff is really friendly.
Right now you can only eat outside but that’s OK it’s in Ventura you’ll enjoy it.

Good food and good music. This place seems to be busy all of the time. Haven’t had anything that we didn’t like. The portions are good sized as well! The crunchy tacos were a little softer than I like, but the flavors are there, so it’s not even a complaint.
