First time trying the restaurant it is attached to a seafood market and a meat market also which is really kind of cool atmosphere. I got the oyster Poboy and a bowl of gumbo seafood. The only problem I found with any of it was that the oysters were a little bit saltier than I like and by the time I finished eating my sandwich they were a little soggy, and the bread was not toasted as I would have liked, but the taste on everything including the seafood gumbo was phenomenal.

I have been here about 4 times so far and this place is such a hidden gem. Everything so far has been good and it’s always fresh and made to order. Most things except the baskets are A La Carte but it’s all good.
First trip I came and had the Catfish Basket. I was shocked by how much catfish they gave you. More than expected. It came with fries and they have different sauces you can choose from.
Second trip like a week later I had to Shrimp Po Boy. You could get it fried, grilled or even blackened I believe. I usually don’t like Po Boys but this was so good. Shrimp really were fried to perfection.
I came back a day later and got the burger and again, cooked to perfection, so juicy. This the only meal I forgot to take a picture of before I devoured it.
Today I came and got the SteakBomb and again, something that was really good.
Between my first and last trip they have also added 3 new menu items that I’m excited to try. Also plan to try their gumbo. Really diverse menu and everything is amazing.
It’s connected to a butcher shop and a seafood market where you can also buy fresh seafood, cuts of meat and wine.
Really a spot that has it all.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Came by there yesterday for some shrimp & red snapper. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Shop was very clean & well maintained. Had a nice selection of everything. Made shrimp/grits and I grilled the red snapper. It was fantastic!! The seafood was fresh & tasted great!! Will definately be back.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I’m visiting from out of town, and my blackened mahi fish tacos were other-worldly. The hush puppies were a delightful side, with the fresh house made tartar sauce to dip. 100% loved this meal. The vibe here is relaxed, mom & pop kind of cozy. Go here today. I will be back!!

Anyone that gives a rating under 5 starts must frequent Capt Dee’s because Captain Patrick isn’t just running a seafood restaurant and market, he’s running a five-star underwater kingdom where the shrimp are plump, the oysters are legendary, and the vibe is somewhere between “nautical chic” and “mermaid-approved.” If Poseidon opened a restaurant, he would be jealous.
PS – Don’t forget the chicken salad “to go” on your way out! Oh, and the pimiento cheese.

We brought my 69 year old sister to have a Birthday lunch. There were 6 of us one being a toddler. We had to sit at 2 different tables away from each other. We made a Trip from Trussville and I wasn’t impressed at all. The Black hair lady taking orders was very rude and seem like we were an inconvenience to her. That one thing turned all of us off. And then there is the name Snapper Grabbers and there is no Snapper on the menu ? The food was sub par at best. My family and I will never come there again. Also you need to get some more side. Overpriced for the product, felt like we were a bother and no one ask if we wanted to pull 2 tables together to have our family together. Food not that good and not much of a choice of sides. Won’t be back.
