Local restaurant with great food! We were in the area visiting and found this gem. It is managed by two really nice ladies and you can tell all the locals go there because of their hospitality. Went for breakfast following a local recommendation. We were lucky we had some cash on us because they don’t take card, we would have had to go elsewhere otherwise.
When we sat down for breakfast it took 55 minutes to get our food, which was pretty rough with a hungry toddler. There was no explanation or reassurance from the wait staff for the delay, so I’m not sure if this is just a normal occurrence.
I got the breakfast burrito which was okay. The potatoes were crispy inside but there wasn’t much seasoning on the eggs or veg. The wife got the biscuits and gravy. While the biscuits were fluffy and quite good, the gravy didn’t taste like it was seasoned or had much flavor to it at all, despite being really rich and creamy.
Maybe lunch is a little better, as that is what our recommendation was to get, but we will not be returning here again.

Delicious!!!! Everything was soooo good, from the perfectly cooked omelette, to the homemade toast with homemade strawberry jam. Just can’t be beat. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Going to buy some of their jam to take home. Great place to eat!

We just had breakfast it was so delicious! We went back everyday until we had to head back home from our mini UP vacation. The staff and the locals made us feel welcome. PS you had me with your homemade bread toast and homemade jam!
