Me and my friend always come here every start of the semester to celebrate. the food always hits every time and the service is great. Small place but feels very homey and cute ! our go-to is always the sweet potato fries. The hotdogs and their soups are good too. everything here is good lol

Smor the restaurant was alright, nothing too spectacular, but also not terrible. I got the everything salad, and it was alright. The everything salad had avocado, salmon, lettuce, bread, and egg. Nothing really stood out about the salad, and it didn’t have too much flavor to it, or a unique taste to it. It was a regular salad, just ok. The space was pretty small, but had a modern Nordic ambience to it. It’s best to RSVP before hand, because it can get crowded and busy at night. The service was alright, nothing extraordinary or terrible. The food came out pretty quickly and the price was alright/average. I prefer SMOR the bakery, a bit more, since it had more variety on the items that it served or had.

Price:$20

Cute little brunch spot. Always POPPING. Dare I say I like the bakery better? And I’m not the biggest fan of their brioche bun – so dry! I had the hangover brisket sandwich. It was good. But the bread! I was just not all that into the bread.

I also ordered the fries with the aioli. They were alright. I wanted to get hot sauce or salt or something to give them a little boost, but our server was hard to pin down.

Basically, it’s a vibe, but I’ve been underwhelmed by the food (it looks better than it is in my experience at both the restaurant and bakery)

Smør has been on my to-go list forever now but it was quite a let down? I ordered the smoked salmon plate — the portion was small, the bread dry and hard, and the avocado was not ripe at all. The server did little to help which made the atmosphere even less inviting. Definitely lacking in that Scandanavian warmth and food quality despite claiming to provide it.

Tiny place with some indoor and outdoor seating, incredible array of Swedish seafood focused comfort food, and lovely spritzes/drink menu (including 5-7pm happy hour all days of the week). Great for a casual dinner! Highly recommend the smoked trout buckwheat cold noodles entree, the leafy greens salad app – and the dessert crepe pancakes as a table shared dessert.

The hot dog was okay overall, and the staff was friendly. However, the sausage was very small and quite thin, which was a bit disappointing. They also added too much Remoulade sauce, in my opinion.

We got the schnitzel and the salmon. Great sides and sauces with solid proteins. Yogurt sauce was elite. Salmon was terrific but would get something else instead of the schnitzel. Well priced too. Friendly workers and nice drink selection. It’s a great spot.

A cute, chic Scandinavian spot with that cool, young vibe you’d expect in the East Village. The pumpkin soup was delicious, and both main dishes we tried were nice though they ended up being very similar, which we only realized after sharing.

Prices are on the expensive side for what feels like simple fare, but our server was friendly and impressively patient especially considering he was handling the whole place on his own.

Overall, glad we tried it once but probably a one time visit for us.

Imagine a Scandinavian tapas restaurant in the heart of the East Village – that’s Smør. The plates are well portioned and 100% worth sharing with friends.

The food was incredible and the drinks were refreshing and unique. My favorite entrees were the brisket sandwich and the fish and chips. (That curry sauce is INCREDIBLE!) I can’t wait to visit again

Lovely little spot with a calm, welcoming vibe. Warm wood interiors and soft lighting make it feel cosy without trying too hard.

Great for a quiet breakfast or just lingering with a coffee. The avocado toast is fresh and well-balanced, and the salmon one is a proper highlight – full of flavour, nothing overpowering. Coffee’s solid too.

Staff are genuinely friendly. Feels like the kind of place locals return to.
