I go to this location (being right next to my gym) no less than three times per week. It’s gotten to a point where they know my order and start it as soon as I walk in. How can one give that type of service a bad rating or review. The staff is always friendly and I have never had any reason to complain.

Consistently Overpriced & Poor Service—Do Your Research
I’ve noticed a consistent pattern at this location: they charge $2–$3 more for the exact same order compared to other spots in Prince George’s County. I’m a creature of habit—I order the same thing every time—so the price difference stands out. I’ve started comparing receipts across locations, and this one is always higher.
To make matters worse, the customer service is lacking. Even when the place isn’t busy, there’s no greeting when you walk in. It feels dismissive. And like other reviewers have pointed out, they’re reluctant to give you a receipt, which makes tracking these price differences even harder.
I won’t be returning. Customers deserve transparency and respect. If you frequent this chain, I strongly recommend comparing your receipts and speaking up. We shouldn’t have to do detective work just to get fair pricing.

The past few times I’ve been to this location it has been ok with the exception of the last time, when they ran out of strawberries, however substituted it with bananas. I was ok with that substitute. Today I placed an order at 1:53pm (4 smoothie bowls), and it stated it will be ready at 2:30pm. I walked in at 2:30pm to pick up my order and it was not ready. I was ok but then noticed that they never made it from the beginning and people were coming in after me receiving their order while I was still waiting. The associate asked me about adding coconut to to my bowls and I said does it comes with it. She replied no but we can add it because we are out of blueberries. At 3:06pm my order was finally ready but wrong. The bowls had mangos in it and I asked was it suppose to be there because I said bananas. The associate said no it doesn’t you ordered this type (Picks up a receipt on the side which was someone’s order because clearly it wasn’t mine). I left my phone in the car which contained my confirmation and thought ok I must have ordered something different this time by mistake, I’ll take that if it was my fault. By then I had to hurry and get back home for work and checked my phone and receipt and they lied. I have been calling and calling and they have not answered. I would like to go back but a severe storm is coming and I had to log back on to work. I will start going to the Bowie location because this is ridiculous. Don’t lie to me about what I paid for. These smoothies are not cheap. Keep in mind they called and asked me what did I want to replace the blueberries with since they were out and I said bananas/strawberries/granola – you can mix it up so why would you tell me it doesn’t come with bananas. It does when you’re out of what is suppose to come with it. Dispute….

It appears to be under new management and everything from the taste of the smoothies to the employees are phenomenal. I noticed this when I started going back earlier this year. Because of that, I have to be fair and change the rating. I now go to this location once a week or every other week at the minimum.

Because of that, I have to be fair and change the rating. I now go to this location once a week or every other week at the minimum.

WORST ACAI BOWL EXPERIENCE EVER if I could give them zero stars which they deserve I would. The bowl came half full, the little girl behind the counter had an attitude (you can see her in the picture) when I asked why was the bowl with the smoothie base and toppings on top was only HALF FULL, I was told ‘because that’s the serving size they tell us to make.’ When I tell you I go to Crofton to Rutabega to get an acai bowl that’s less money and double the size, it’s worth the drive every time. Smoothie king is being predatory in PG County because I’m sure if I go to silver spring the bowl will be completely full! We need to stop accepting less than what our counterparts are given in healthy food options, I say we boycott smoothie king in PG County, if they are not here for us we do not need to support their business. The name of a real smoothie and acai bowl place is in the pictures below, it’s clearly a difference in size and quality of product. I took all pictures before eating any of either bowl. Trash ! Go to another location….Paid for a 1 Acai and 1 pitaya and the Acai bowl is not even half full and the pitaya is full . Asked the worker why she said because one comes with 3 scoops the other with 4. This is a huge difference for the SAME PRICE !!!
The actual bowl is clumpy with chucks of dragon fruit i have never had a chunky bowl . The blend should be smooth. 1/10 don’t recommend. I’ll stick to the authentic bowl spots .

I was highly satisfied with my experience at this Smoothie King because the staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making my visit pleasant from start to finish.
