This was our first time dining here. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. Diner style inside, clean & locally owned. The food was delicious and the portion was generous. Coleslaw wasn’t my favorite, but that can be a personal preference. Our waitress was kind & attentive. Check their hours before you go. I want to try breakfast next time.

I’m trying to be as fair as possible. I was there for the first time and broke my own rule. Walked into a BBQ place and ordered the walleye special. I can’t even tell you about the BBQ. All I can say was the fish was especially greasy, and I ended up getting very sick after my lunch. I don’t know where to point the finger so I won’t. If it was something I ate, it doubly upsets me that I didn’t order the loaded tots instead. That was my second choice – perhaps should have been my first!

I had a very good meal here. The ribs were great, the baked beans were delicious. Cornbread was ok, not bad but I have had better. Waitress was not the best though. I will go back, I really did enjoy the food.

I didn’t get what I paid for, Pulled pork and nachos were cold with little meat, nachos were mostly chips. It was half assed because they were in a hurry to close. The server wanted me to order something “easy for the cook” even though there was still 25 minutes left. Take your money to city BBQ.

The smoked meats are perfectly paired with their different barbecue sauces. The meats are incredibly tender, full of flavor, and a pleasure to eat.
