Great experience! Owner was not actually open- (I read hours wrong) we stopped by in our camper and he gladly served us some to-go meals. We really appreciated that. We had ribs and quarter chicken with baked beans and Mac n cheese. Very filling and had a great taste!

A great small local business. Run by the owner. He does it all and does it well. We had brisket sandwiches and fries. The brisket was juicy the roll was top notch. The fries were fresh and excellent. We ate outside on the porch at a picnic table but they had inside tables too. It’s kind of tucked away a little off the beaten path but close by. I’m looking forward to trying the ribs next time. I forgot to put take a picture I dug into it too fast!

We were looking to get a good meal today before jumping back on the interstate. We wanted to give this place a try since the hours said they were open until 7 pm and the reviews seemed good. We stopped by around 3:15 pm and the Open sign was flashing. We walked up to the door and tried opening it, only to find the door was locked. We peeked inside through the glass door and saw a football game was playing on the TV but no one was around. There wasnt another vehicle outside besides ours…not sure if the worker needed to step out but would have been nice if they left a sign on the door saying they would be back. We were very disappointed and left to go to a different restaurant in the area.

My husband and I were traveling for work and stopped by because we were driving through. It’s a wonderful little place – the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We both got the pulled pork sandwiches – they are absolutely amazing. I like the Carolina BBQ sauce on mine. The baked beans are savory and rich and the Mac and cheese has a little kick to it – but it’s not too spicy. The coleslaw is fantastic – add it to your sandwich with the pickles. That’s the way to do it. We will definitely be back!

I’m not normally a fan of bbq in general, but my husband wanted food and this place was around the corner. I really loved everything, but the baked beans were absolutely stand out to me. I am not usually a fan at all but the rest was so good, I decided to try them. Now I can’t stop eating them. They’re so beautifully layered with flavor, it’s like fireworks in your mouth! Considering sending him back for more…
Honestly, this place is a hidden gem and we will be going back. Often.

Great food and service! We came in a little before close and the owner was super friendly and welcoming! Told us to make ourselves at home, and brought out a lot of delicious meat. Great stop before heading to the casino for the night!

The coleslaw is the best I’ve ever had! The meat is so juice and tender! I’ve found my new spot! The ribs were fresh off the smoker!
Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Stopped by during a road trip. The wings were cooked perfectly but the BBQ sauce was also top notch. Mac and cheese was decent as well. The service and atmosphere was a 10/10. The owner took the time to show me how his smoking operation worked and seemed to genuinely enjoy talking to his customers. Would come back in a heartbeat if ever in the area

What a nice dinner we had. We stayed in the parking lot in our RV and came in for a bite. Ace was quite the host and the food was right on point! Even got to try his new cornbread recipe out we had a Mac n cheese bbq bowl with both sauces and the fried ribs dinner. That’s right fried ribs smoked first, deep fried, then tossed in sauce, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside! If you’re in the area you should stop in!

This is a no-frills bbq place with convenient highway access. The service and food were both excellent. It’s the sort of place where they have what they have in terms of food—some menu options had run out or weren’t made, but the ribs and pulled pork were both great (best I’ve had in the northern US).
