It would be a 5/5 stars if judged on food alone. The menu is great: quality, well executed meal of standard American fare. As a local, much appreciated. The reduction of a star is due to strage service. The waitress must be incredibly new to serving or overall unsure of her role. Small touches that would improve an otherwise great experience. Will come back.

DELICIOUS!! If fresh and real ingredients are what you’re looking for, this is the place. It’s one of the best places to eat in Round Top, TX, SDs(Sarah & Darryl) Roadhouse doesn’t break the bank either. Eating Salmon and asparagus on a wrap around porch on a crisp September afternoon was what we needed. Go visit, you will not be disappointed!

Great night with my friends at The Stone Cellar! Prices are high ($10 per small pour of wine), but the atmosphere, friendliness and food make up for it. Brandi was our waitress. She was very friendly and fast getting our items to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the live music and dance space. It seems many of the patrons were locals. They were all warm and even asked us all to dance several times. The outside perimeter has a wrap around porch that would be great for warmer months (we were there in November). The chips and queso were great. The chips themselves were piping hot. The fried green tomatoes served with ranch are delicious. I recommend this place fir anyone wanting a fun night out with small town feel and charm.

Weird experience, got to the front of the line only to be told they were only serving wings (but they were out of boneless) and pizzas. I don’t particularly eat bone-in wings in public but I’m also not particularly a pizza person so I went with lemon pepper wings. They were insanely saucy but tasted good. A couple who ordered right after us sat down nearby and their food (regular entrees which we were told we couldn’t order) was delivered a few minutes after ours. Very, very weird.

Highly recommend this place! Hand-breaded, juicy onion rings. Grilled hamburger buns, done the old-fashioned way, juicy meat. Thin crust pizza is very thin. I had the parmesan salad, which was delicious.

5➕ stars all the way around! They’ve got the Texas hospitality down. Friendly and welcoming staff and folks. It’s not every place you can walk in and the owner, staff and other patrons greet you with a smile and a regular plays some great music on his guitar! Wonderful atmosphere with some neat rustic decor and great overall laid back feel.

Wow! I landed here for the 175th consecutive July 4th Parade in Round Top and glad I did! There’s a great big shady porch that was a real comfortable place to watch the parade and eat.
The restaurant was packed with super friendly people. Everyone having a good time. The staff was all smiles.
The menu; finger foods, burgers, sliders, pizza and a bunch of enticing entrees. I had pork belly bites that were crispy and delicious, served with BBQ sauce. Excellent!
Last thing, we got lucky because there was a phenomenal rock, blues band!
Perfect. Good times.

This is the best place in the area. We love coming here to watch the Texas Longhorn football games on their big screen TV’s. Their food and service is great. People here are always friendly. They have good live music at night as well. Hook’em!
