I initially came in here with low expectations as this is the suburbs and there are a lot of his and miss spots but this place surprised me!
Really nice customer service and love the signs all over the place like “Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy” lol
The food came out super-fast, they gave me extra sauce and wow do they have some great sauces!
I decided to go with the 2 meat option with 2 sides.
Brisket
A little bit on the dry side but the fact I can see the smoke rings in the meat is a huge win! I think if I had eaten them there they would be perfect!
Pulled pork
Really good especially with the sauces – tough to name a favorite but delicious stuff! Can only imagine what it would be like with some mashed potatoes or greens – wow!
Chicken wings
Love the smoke and rub on these (really surprised by the smoky flavor) but sadly not very consistent. The drumsticks were some dry and some not but still great!
Ma Stoner’s corn pudding
I did not have this – gave it to a friend and she loved it! Gave it a 10/10 and would go back just for that! So that should speak volumes considering she was skeptical of it initially
Overall great spot and will be coming back and pricing is great! Less expensive than Urban BBQ!

Great food, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here. I legitimately can’t think of a single item I didn’t like here. The Alabama white sauce for the chicken and their original sauce are my favorite sauces here. Their fries are the best fries around period they are always fresh and are thick cut. The chili is very rich and flavorful you can taste the smoked meat. The salads are huge and the dressings are fresh. The bowls are my new favorite item here a mix of so many different flavors in one bowl and the cilantro ranch dressing that it’s paired with is perfect. It may seem a bit pricey but it’s absolutely worth it. Also the decor is homey/cozy. They also have several Tv’s so if a game is on you can watch while eating.

Love this place. Relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. And the BBQ is amazing. Salads are plentiful and their own sauces are delicious with the meats. Pulled pork and burnt ends are my favourite, but it’s all good. Would definitely recommend.

First time here after passing several times between clients. I called ahead and picked up through the mobile order window. The phone order went smooth and the person was very nice. The person at the window was speedy and nice as well. The building is a little unassuming but in an upscale neighborhood where it had to look like a boutique shouldn’t throw you. I had the pulled pork sandwich and a corn bread muffin. The muffin was fantastic compared to other local bbqs versions. The pork was not bad, but as a stand-alone I didn’t feel like the smoke and seasoning came through very well. Their sauce is great though and goes very well with the pork. I would go here again for sure.

I have had this great food from just walking in, and having it catered at work functions. All times have been fantastic! Most places pass off BBQ as authentic, but this restaurant is the real deal in the suburbs. They have a great selection, including burnt ends! You only get those at TRUE BBQ joints! This place also doesn’t sauce their meats, unless advertised. I appreciate that from a BBQ place!! You should taste the “time” they put into the meat before the sauce! They also have amazing sides to go with their great smoke-infused meat. I recommend Ma Stoner’s Cornbread. It’s incredible! It’s located on the outskirts of Long Grove, with plenty of room/options for the whole family. You can’t go wrong with Smokin’ T’s! You won’t be disappointed

Nice BBQ spot with good sauce selection (love the Alabama White Sauce). We buy their frozen soups to keep in our freezer…the chicken tortilla is excellent! My husband also loves the Smokin T’s Chopped Salad. The reason I am giving four and not five stars is that I have had better pulled pork, brisket, and turkey. I would call these meats average here…not bad just average. I have not tried the corned beef, ribs, chicken, or wings but since I keep going back I’ll have to do that next!

Love the pulled pork and pulled chicken. Brisket is a little fatty and not quite tender enough for my taste. Pork Ribs could be a bit more tender too.
Love the sauces. Fries are a little bland. And prices are steep for BBQ but they have some tasty dishes a Smokin’ T’s. I would recommend it.

Tried this place for the first time…food was pretty good & due to being mid-afternoon, it was not busy. I had 1/2 slab of ribs, Mac n cheese & corn muffin. My husband also had the ribs but with beans & french fries. All the food was pretty good, not outstanding, but we’d go back. Rather pricey, tho. Young lady who took our order at the counter was very friendly & courteous.
