We were traveling, and I was hankering some smoked meats. We decided to try this eatery after seeing it at the end of our street. The cuisine was excellent. Meat was tender, portions were generous, and flavors were perfect. (The very best cornbread.) Our “hot foods”-loving kid and I interacted with the employees. They enjoyed having him try some of their sauces. Watching him experience the heat and flavor was entertaining. They were all tasty, he claimed. Excellent cuisine. Excellent staff. We were all satisfied when we departed and wished we could eat there again!

We were on vacation and I was craving smoked meats. We saw this place at the end of our block and gave it a try. The food was delicious. Portions were big, meat was tender, and flavors were spot on. (Best cornbread ever.) The staff interacted with us and our “hot foods” loving son. They were had some fun having him sample their sauces. It was fun watching him register the heat/flavor. He said they were all yummy. Great food. Great staff. We all left feeling pleased, and wish we could eat there again!

I just purchased a large rib tip this was my first and last Encounter with this establishment. I read some reviews before going and was a little hesitant however it’s Sunday I didn’t have many options and the review was from mid 2019. I should have followed my first mind. My large tip looked like a small tip. The fries were separated and had no sauce on them. The quality of the tips themselves were not good overcooked and fatty. So basically I wasted $14. The bread was good and that’s it. I will never return nor recommend this place to anyone.

I love beef brisket but it has to be quality beef!!! Nothing like a good beef brisket as long as there’s enough meat on it I don’t even mind a little fat but this place piles the fat on and give the excuse that brisket has a lot of fat!! True if it’s not a quality brisket that is being prepared The taste is awesome!! But this is definitely a place for pork lovers!! The beef brisket sandwich will have 75% fat and barbecue sauce and they will even put fries on your sandwich!! BIG NO NO!!! IF YOU WANT MEET AND YOU ARE A PORK LOVER YOU WILL BE IN PORK HEAVEN!! BEEF BRISKET LOVERS ARE GOING TO AGREE THAT THIS IS A 75% FAT SANDWICH VERY LOW LEAN MEAT CONTENT!! IF SOMEONE CAN TALK THIS GUY INTO GETTING A BETTER QUALITY BEEF THEY WILL BE MAKING A GREAT SANDWICH BECAUSE THE TASTE IS GREAT!!!!!

I ordered here last month and honestly a waste of my money. I ordered 3 orders of mini tips and a large tip. The lady that took my order was rude about me wanting to change my orders to all large tips. The customer service, heck I thought I had to pay for that too. The ribs wasn’t so good and the lack of sauce was mind blowing. Not only that, but why wouldn’t you put the sauce on the fries. I was disgusted and ended up throwing the food away
