Some of the best bbq in town! The corn on the cob is a must, everything we have ever gotten was yummy. Highly recommend! Nachos are generous as well, my husband loves to get them as his main course.

Food was 5/5 amazing. I’ve had BBQ from famous establishments in Dallas and St. Louis but none of them compare to Smokin’ J’s food. I highly recommend the grilled corn as a side with anything. The juicy, flavorful and crisp corn comes right off the cob. It’s the best corn I’ve ever tasted. Their meats are also very good. The turkey is tender and well-smoked. The St. Louis style ribs were well-seasoned, and their jalapeno and cheese sausage was delectable. I also loved in particular their green beans, baked beans and, of course, grilled corn sides.
My only suggestion is for the restaurant management to train some of their staff on etiquette. While it’s possible that our server was the only one who has room for improvement, the restaurant should expect all of their servers to provide friendly and effective service. Our server checked in on us one time during the entire meal, even though she walked by our table several times. While we were thoroughly impressed by the food, we rate the service as mediocre or 3/5. The manager of the store was very nice, though. He asked us how the food was and was very personable.

WOW….What else is there to say??? We a bonafide model maskerating as a server, unbelievable, & the food was in the stratosphere. I’m talk’n food network quality. Pick the show & this place has them hands down. And quick with the service, you get your apps & next thing you know there is your entree. I left full happy & feeding 2 blue collar men didn’t break the bank either. Class act…keep up the good work.

Love this place! Great Service and food. Our waiter was very helpful when we asked him questions about different foods. We had a great experience. There were 3 of us and we had Buffalo Smoked Turkey Dip, Turkey Shoot Sandwich, Brisket and Ribs, Beer Battered Fish Dinner. None of us was disappointed. There is a movie theater right across the hall of one of their entrances. It would be a great date night with dinner and a movie.

Maybe some of the best local BBQ I’ve had especially the smoked sausage sampler. The briscuit was cooked properly as was the Turkey and both were delicious. The pork was good but probably the weakest of the meats in my opinion. Of the sides I found the broccoli salad a nice alternative to a BBQ side.
Atmosphere was great with plenty of parking and easy access. Only complaint was it seemed like there wasn’t a clear cut way to tell what was available and what wasn’t available outside of special times.

The food was delicious. Our server was kind and attentive. Price-to-portion felt a little off on certain items (the ribs, brisket, and premium sides specifically), but they were cooked and seasoned well.

We had high hopes for this establishment given previous reviews but…
Wait staff took forever to take our drink and food orders on a not so busy night.
Pretzel bites and beer cheese if you can call that beer cheese were very bland and cold.
Steak was cooked on a flat top or frying pan not grilled as you would expect at a BBQ establishment also cold.
BBQ was cold, tasteless and “premium”sides were cold as well and the toast was cold greasy and soggy.
Definitely a one and done for us.

Ok, most important, everything we are was so awesome!! Absolutely the best wings i have ever eaten!! And i don’t usually like wings!! The portions are hudge!! Ok, the ambiance is great, the decor is perfect and fitting for the restaurant. Every single employee smiled and was super friendly, just like they were your neighbor!! I will be going back super often!! Love it!¡

We have eaten out there twice in the last month for the first time ever and we’ve loved it both times! Waitresses were excellent and seemed like they were enjoying their job and the food was really good and we did not feel rushed. Definitely will come back out. Love this restaurant!
