This place is LEGIT. The brisket (especially the moist side) is as good as some I’ve had in Texas. Potato salad had just the right balance of sweetness, the collard greens are nice and balanced with generous chunks of meat. I didn’t get to try the cornbread because they sold out, but I’m definitely gonna try to get some next time.
If you’re craving bbq, don’t waste your time going to one of the chain restaurants in the area. You’ll just be disappointed. This is the real deal. Great smoke flavor, good quality meat. It hits the spot.

Super friendly owner that delivers the best BBQ in town. The prices are fair and the portions are perfect. If you want to sample a little of everything I recommend getting The Works combo. The sides are separate but the BBQ beans are highly encouraged. Two types of BBQ sauce are offered, regular and spicy. If you’re a lightweight get the regular because the spicy had a good kick! If you’re looking for great BBQ be sure to stop by and visit.

Food is good here. I’ve ordered BBQ here a couple of times for company luncheons and taken my family here on separate occasions to get some BBQ. I love the fried corn bread, the ribs are delicious and the sandwiches are yummy with the spicy BBQ sauce they offer. It’s not really a sit down spot but the owner is cool, conversates with you and is a people person. This is spot better than some joints I’ve tried in Conpton.

Just found this local place. Brisket, Pork Ribs, Hot link are fire. Got the Mac and cheese plus Baked Beans also good. Beans had a deep smokey flavor which I loved. Owner threw in some Tri-tip and it was fantastic . The meats were properly seasoned and savory. Definitely recommend this place.

Consistently delicious, flavorful authentic bbq, crisp coleslaw, yummy beans. Ribs and pulled pork wake you up with amazing flavor, great even the next day as leftovers. 2-3 tins combo big enough for most lunches, combo platter easily feeds three. Definitely worth the trip!

This BBQ establishment provides delectable and high-quality fare. While it lacks a formal dining area, it has excellent takeout service. You will find great value for your money and will not be disappointed. I highly recommend “The Works” accompanied by BBQ beans and coleslaw.
