Great down home atmosphere. Excellent food. I love the chopped pork and can never decide which of the wonderful sauces to use. I sometimes use some of one then some of another. The staff is friendly and you are well taken care of.

The park on the rib what’s a little bit chewy at the start, but the underside was juicy and tender–to me good even without the sauce. The onion rings or, perhaps, the best that I have ever eaten; and I only pulled 1 piece of onion clean out of the the batter crust.

Delicious! Had the Fried Catfish dinner, the fish was flaky, cooked and seasoned perfectly! It was so good I didn’t get to take a picture lol!

My experience was very good. I had the special, fried catfish with two sides. The food was well cooked and seasoned perfectly. The waitress has a good personality and was very efficient.

This is a very cool spot to grab some great BBQ! I pass by this restaurant as I travel to certain places. There are some neat history pieces to look at. I always order the ribs, and they never disappoint. The ribs are thick and fall off the bone. The beans and coleslaw are my favorite sides. Do yourself a favor, and stop by.

My recent order of food tasted delicious, as well as the other meals purchased for my friends, but the service received was not so good.
I ordered carry out, they left out my salad, realized this once I was already 20 minutes out of town, no biggie, I figured they could just credit my debit card, nope unable to do so, just said they would give me a credit to get another or give me money back. Not so worried about getting $ back and was not going to push it until I found a black hair cooked inside of my chicken, I informed the staff as I was calling them back about my salad, she seemed to have cared less, just said she would let the cook know, and thanks for letting her know. No offer to get credited for that meal. No apology. Nothing. Had they at least have been apologetic for this, I would have not bothered to leave a poor review.
I know the owner would not approve of this kind of service!

There were only 3 parties in there at 6 and we waited 20-25 minutes for our food. The sides were really good (recommended the fried green beans) but I was not impressed with the ribs at all. Person I was with got steak and it was decent, not worth the price.

I like this place because they are nice very kind to all their customers. I do have a few miner complaints……… So the food was great but the waitress did not come back around to give us tea intill we got done eating. Also the onion rings need to be a Lil bigger and the fried green tomatoes needs some flavor,some seasoning…. But otherwise the food was great

This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had lately. We waited, and waited and waited to be waited on. We finally got our drinks then we waited some more, 40 minutes to be exact, before they came and took our order SEVERAL people who came in after us ordered and got their food before they finally decided to take our order. We were sitting right in front of the counter, eyes on us all the time. Then we waited some more. When we finally got our food they never came back to check on us. I finally told my son I reckon we have the plague or something and one of the servers came and gave him a half glass of tea and told him that was all she had. She did finally refill my drink. The food was not that great either. The baked beans were just pork and beans straight out of a can. This is the sorriest service we have received in a very long time.
