They was not prepared! We had to scan QR code on table to get the menu. Then we got told they was updating the menu and it took like 12 minutes. Than we ordered our food! It took a long while before we got our food!!! We waited a little bit for our drinks!! Which they was out of almost all fountain drinks except diet coke and orange soda . But they had can cokes and bottled water! A bottle of water was $2 . I think we paid too much money for our meal and got very little . There was only 1 staff on duty. Our server was nice!

Great place to eat! The staff is fantastic and really helpful. I had the smoked bologna sandwich with fries and fried green beans. The wife loved the half and half sandwich. Friend had the cheesey meaty mac, comes with any meat on the menu. Think I will try it the next time we venture this way…..

Wouldn’t recommend them for catering. We had them cater our 10 year class reunion. They delivered our food late and didn’t bring the entire order, he had to bring the rest on a separate trip, and it took forever. No serving utensils were brought by. The pulled pork was ok but the potatoes were awful.

We went there on a Saturday around 1:30pm and they were not busy by any means. They were out of nearly everything and everything was incredibly disorganized. The tables still had the chairs up on them and the tables were so sticky that the chairs took quite a bit of effort to remove.

Very clean! The pulled pork and brisket were amazing. Friendly staff! I would’ve given 5 stars, but the mac n cheese was cold and our fries were reheated and not fresh. But, the pork was so tasty and juicy, it was well worth the visit!!

This place is a diamond in the rough. We ordered the ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey and the fried bologna. All were amazing! The corn pudding, coleslaw and fries were delicious as well. We ended with Debbie’s Watergate cake, banana pudding and hot apple pie. All were incredible. Our family will definitely be back! Some of the best bbq we have ever had!

Hands down the place to eat in Johnson County. I returned to my hometown after being away for many years to try their food. The quality of food and the service we received from staff in the renovated location was incredible. Its been open for a couple years now. It will remain that way due to the flavors, service, and quality of everything. Chef David knows his BBQ.

Being in town, I heard about a new BBQ place at the country club. My brother and I decided to take a chance on it. And a good decision it was! The staff was great and really friendly. I had the brisket, it was full of applewood smoked flavor! I also enjoyed the fried green beans, they had a beautiful crunch to them. I hope to eat here again next time I’m in town!
