Delicious ribs and brisket. The BBQ sauces are the bomb. We loved the ribs sooo much that we bought them back to our home in the west coast.

My husband and I both got the 3 meat special, my husband got atomic coleslaw (IF YOU LOVE HEAT ONLY!) and bbq beans, I got the Mac and cheese , okra both sides were very good, juicy meat, and big portions, our starter was the firecrackers which is battered jalapeño slices, could use a little more salt or just something but again was good, service was great and everyone was friendly, we will be back..

Megan was a wonderful hostess/server. I sincerely thank you for guiding our party to a great meal decision and your hospitality which made it an exceptional experience!! The moment we walked in the aroma of smoked gifts offered an abundance of assurance we were in the right place! The meat was tender, flavorful, and complimented by excellent sides. I recommend taking the offer for pickled jalapenos because that allows you to make the most fantastic bomber you’ll ever eat! I stuffed mine with pulled pork, some chopped brisket, a sliver of sausage and topped it all with a dot of cool creamy potato salad. The atomic slaw in our order was very appreciated. I love okra; which means an additional order was made for it. All portion sizes are great, hearty, and a fine experience. Thank you to everyone for a great meal and again sincere thanks to Megan for leading the way.

This place is great! Rustic looking with delicious food! A blue collar workers dream! It has all the hits. Brisket pulled pork chicken breast and bologna make up the bulk of the menu. I want to try the BBQ eggrolls!
We got the family pack that’s supposed to serve three to four people but the two of us scarfed it down
The bathrooms are a little run down and the seats are kind of uncomfortable. Other than that we will be back for sure.

Pleasantly surprised with the ribs, subtle seasoning, and had three sweet to tangy sauces to choose from. We came late, 30 minutes before closing and the food was hot and plated nicely. We dug in before taking photos since we were hungry and didn’t want to overstay past closing. We both got the same thing, except husband got the sidewinders, and those are beer battered spiral cut fries. We got okra but will ask them to be a bit more crispy next time we go. The staff was very friendly and attentive, chugged like 3 glasses of tea and I never ran out of it as they refilled it often. Very pleasant experience!

My wife and I stopped at smokies for the first time today. The restaurant looked and smelled great. The ladies was nice taking my orders. Slab of ribs, pound of Bologna and sides baked beans, potato salad, and fried okra. They sacked it up fast and said 71 dollars. I normally look at my food but I didn’t this time. I thought the price was pretty high. So I paid and went home and got ready to eat. Boy was I dissatisfied. Over cooked dry ribs. Bologna was cut up into little strips and over cooked and dry. Like the meat been sitting in a warmer too long. The potato salad is missing sugar or something because it tasted different. I couldn’t believe we paid over 70 dollars for barbeque that was dry and overcooked. The best part of our dinner was the barbeque sauce. If I didn’t live 8 miles from there and tired from running around all day I would have asked for my money back. Not saying everyone have experienced this, but I have.

Great little BBQ joint. Neat look to the building, smelled AWESOME inside. Has a tiny eating area, maybe 12 tables? But plenty of room for this big guy. Service was fast, greeted us in the door and took our order quick. Super nice and friendly!
The food was great! Beans were recommended as the side, and it was good choice. The onion rights were the thick kind, but they were great. I got the ribs…because you have to try ribs at a new bbq joint. They were solid. Super tender, looked great. Meaty, smoky, delicious.
Over all, I will return!

Stopped here with my partner, as we were trying to find a decent barbeque restaurant, and this one looked the part. However after visiting I can say it wasn’t anything special.
Their meats were dry and flavorless, and needed sauce to even make it worth eating. Their bottles of sauce are rebottled store bought brands.
The price of the food doesn’t equal what you get.
I’d recommend passing on this restaurant.
