As with all theme parks, the food is expensive. This was I believe one of the only two full dining options at Legoland NY. The others two were mobile ordering..

Food:

The food wasn’t incredible. The menu didn’t have that big of a variety either, just some chicken, pulled pork sandwich and some tasteless fries. Not a lot of good things to say about it.

Service:

The restaurant is self serving meaning you don’t get a waiter that brings you the food like in most restaurants. Adding to that, the line to get the food is long and takes about 15 minutes on a busy day.

Atmosphere:

Now here, I can say a few good things! First, it’s Lego themed, with the entrance being a giant Lego dragon and the inside looking like a fiery volcano’s inside. Taking into account the not-so-great food, this was supposed to be one of those restaurants where you pop in, get food, and get out and keep enjoying the park. But to be honest, it’s not even great at that with the long wait and the manticore food. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

This is a pretty alright barbecue place, with things like salad, pulled pork, kids meals and so on. On the food it’s a little spicy but the overall flavors are pretty strong and mild with alright portions sizes. Finally this place also has many condiments and some nice drink concession stands, so overall this is a pretty decent barbecue place.

Updated from July ’22 Visit. The food taste ok, but they raised the price and reduced the amount of food by a lot.

Original review from Aug ’21:
We liked the beef brisket the best, juicy and tender. The pulled pork was dry but the taste was good. We were surprised that the food was flavorful and didn’t taste overly salty.

OK… this was over the top. The staff were friendly and so willing to help. The food was warm, tasty and generous. Place clean and open. Thanks for a great meal!

The majority of food was not good. The only decent thing was the beans. Good for getting out of the sun and for a drink.

Food was decent but way overpriced and the portions were so small. One food item they wanted all the meat, beans and whatever else you get all on top of eachother (which was the only item that gave you at decent portion that’s why we went with that) but we didn’t want the food all in one container.
June freaked out even though the manager said it was totally fine. We were getting the same portions but in separate containers so the food wasn’t mixing together and for some reason she thought acting like a child was the way to go.
It said we had a choice of meat but she just grabs pork and throws it on the counter. I assume it’s for another person so I wait and the other cashier finally has to ask and clarify so I said no we wanted chicken no one ever asked us what meat we wanted yet. This snob June was so upset about her own mistakes that she threw away the food!! My friend after me was even getting the pork meal so she could have just waited two seconds but no. I highly suggest you consider having such a belligerent child work for your establishment

Food: Typical overpriced below average fare, nothing to write home about. Menu has 5 entrees and 6 sides. No vegan or gluten free options. Drinks sold separately.

Service: Was fine, our visit coincided with a recent rain storm so there weren’t too many people so the wait to order wasn’t long.

Atmosphere: Plenty of seating (maybe due to the recent rain), seating inside and outside the restaurant, tables sat 4-6 people. Lighting inside resembled a typical dimmed restaurant.

Overall, was ok. You get your typical subpar amusement park food with standard service and setting.

Portions are a lot smaller than other amusement parks. Definitely not worth it. Chicken tenders were the size of chicken nuggets. Chicken tender basket (3) with fries for $18?!?!!! Since the sizes were small she gave me 4 pieces? They were the size of half dollars. Very disappointed with the food and service.

Came here on Thursday not very busy at all. Only one person working to serve food and cashier at the same time. We had about five groups in front of us took 30mins just to get food. After us there were lines building up and she still does not have help. This is ridiculous. Also she is using same gloves to serve food touch hamburger buns and taking cards. Wow. Never again. $60 food for 3.
