Reviews
Sangam Indian Restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience that easily earns five stars. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and elegant décor set the tone for a memorable meal. The staff are attentive, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making guests feel cared for.
The food is the true highlight — every dish bursts with authentic flavor and is beautifully presented. The butter chicken was rich and perfectly balanced, the lemon rice was fragrant and comforting, and the biryani showcased wonderful depth and aroma. Portions are generous, and the menu offers an impressive variety without feeling overwhelming.
Even during busy hours, the service remains professional and courteous, adding to the overall experience. Sangam stands out as one of Prague’s finest Indian restaurants, combining quality, atmosphere, and hospitality in a way that keeps you wanting to return.
Highly recommended for anyone craving exceptional Indian cuisine.
Quiet and authentic atmosphere with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. Highly recommended!
We forgot to take pictures of the food before eating because it smelled amazing and looked appetizing.
Only 2 legs and 2 small (half of the breast) were delivered.
This is an absolute ripp off for 20 euro. Please beware of what ypu order and how much is charged for it.
Moreover when complained about the same, the response was a threat , like your visiting for tge first time you should be careful and mindful of what to speak. Never thought an Indian could behave in such a way…… so much for customwr service. Absolutely pathetic customer service.
Thank you Sangam for such a nice welcome to prague.

The restaurant was 90% empty, yet seating felt clearly segregated. Tables near the windows and entrance with better visibility and atmosphere were given to white customers, while brown customers, including hijabi women and Asians, were directed to a secluded indoor area with none of the same ambience. The contrast was very obvious and unsettling.
The food was equally disappointing. As an Indian, I can say this did not really taste like Indian food at any level, from casual to fine dining. The prices were not justified by the quality. We ordered three prawn dishes, and none resembled the flavors or standards suggested by their names or reputation. The biryani was mediocre at best. The only genuinely good item was the tea.
Overall, poor value, weak food, and an uncomfortable dining dynamic that shouldn’t be happening. Not a place I would recommend.
Absolutely recommend this place. ✨
The Biryani was great if a little bit oily by the end, the lamb korma had a great cashew sauce and the Rogan Josh which came with a spicy warning from the waiter caused just a little tingle in the back of my mouth (it might be still classified as very hot for people of that country) but still tasted great.
One little warning, if you are sitting further back inside beware of the brass covered tandoori ovens that might be hot if you have children.
Highly recommended
From starters to main courses and drinks – everything is delicious and well presented.
They also offer to tune down the spice levels for our weak European stomachs – a nice touch!
The atmosphere is pleasant and service is nice.
