Food was alright. Service was shit. Waited a long time for someone to take our order and even longer time for the food and check to come out. The waitress threw menus and silverware lol. Food came out cold. It seems like they prioritize people at the bar first.

I don’t know what you guys are talking about. I ended up here just by chance. Normally we relay at flying j or pilots. I was uneasy after reading the reviews but it’s all that’s here. It was good, like real good.I had the pork belly’s and ribs and brisket with mash potatoes and steamed veggies. Man it was good. Nice smoky taste. Pork belly’s juicy just the right amount of fat to meat. Brisket was cut into little peaces but it was good and tender. Add the sauces to the ribs to your liking. They were good. Mash potatoes were real not box and nice gravy. Steamed veggies well there steamed lol

I said at the bar and the girl that was waiting on my section was really sweet. The food though leaves a lot to be desired. The brisket was dry the pork was dry I had a to meet plate so we’re batting a thousand there. I thought the sauces were good but I see other reviewers had a problem with them. I honestly got a kick out of the hot sauce so much that I actually texted a picture of the squirt bottle to my friend. I don’t know if I’ll stop here again maybe if I’m really really hungry but the food leaves a lot to be desired but the people for the most part are real nice.

The regular store section employee could use an attitude adjustment. I kind of think she was put out that I was a female CDL holder and the truck driver. She seemed a little bothered that I was asking her questions about the hot case. Everyone that walks through the door is a customer. I really wanted to say something to her but I know when to pick my battles.

Took a walk around the place so and did enjoy the petting zoo although I didn’t do any feeding. I like to take my dog into different environments so that he can experience the smells. We don’t get around too many farm animals and he was definitely enjoying the visit. It’s probably the highlight of the whole entire place.

Ribs were chewy. Sausage and toast were burnt. Mac n cheese was cold. Baked beans were ok.

I’m a truck driver and I’ve been coming here for years. Within the last year, the quality of the food has dropped significantly. It used to be so fresh and tasty. Don’t know what happened. Mind you it’s still okay but definitely not like how it was a few years ago. Management needs to be a little more on top of things concerning the quality of the food being served. On a lighter note, Jenny is a gem as well as the other waiting/server staff. Alot of times their short handed and they do the best they can with what they’ve got. I’ll give them that. The truck parking lot needs to be leveled a bit. Quite a few deep holes. They have a petting zoo and a pirate ship inside for the kiddos as well as a fishing pond out back. All in all this is still a great place for a meal and a 10hr break.

Constant disappointment with the waitstaff. No common sense what so ever. I was really looking forward to some good brisket. They don’t have sliced brisket only “chopped” which looks more like ground meat and to top it off the waitress decided to place cold plastic to go containers of bbq directly on top of the “mystery meat”. Perhaps this place would benefit from training the staff and adding sliced brisket to the menu.

I have went here for years and always enjoyed the food, today was very different. Where do I start, I’ve always liked their brisket, when I get old brisket that tastes like a refrigerator that changes things, #2 when you get a hot link that is very dry looking, shriveled, and partially burned that’s not a good thing, and last and certainly least we’re the old dried up sticks they served as ribs. If you have the word Smokey in your name then you should learn to smoke ribs, these were boiled and baked til they were dry as a stick and no flavor at all, don’t walk run away from this place or avoid it like the plague because the quality(much like the overall place) has gone off the deep end.

Came here on Sunday to watch football games. Same as on Saturday……….. 0-6. Hunting and fishing only.
But the ribs, okra, and tea is worth coming in for.

I travel for a living & specifically look for good pulled pork sandwiches often. In the last week I’ve had BBQ in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, & now here. This place is BY FAR the BEST BBQ I’ve had in a long time!! Service couldn’t have been any better too! If I lived closer, I’d eat here EVERY DAY!
