I was able to pick everything up the day before, which meant my wife did not have to spend three straight days cooking like she was competing on a Food Network survival show. Instead of chaos, we had peace. Instead of flour-covered countertops, we had joy. Instead of me pretending to “help,” we had perfectly smoked meat and happy guests.
And let me just say this about Sarah. She does not just serve food. She serves people. She has also helped me with a catering event, and everything was phenomenal. Organized, smooth, delicious, and handled with excellence. You can tell she cares about what she does and about the people she serves.
If you are considering holiday meals or catering, stop thinking and just call them. Your family will be impressed, your stress will decrease, and you might even look like a hero without touching the oven.

In town for the F1 and staying in Kyle, we stumbled upon Smokey Mo’s post-race.
Restaurant is spotlessly clean and the counter service is friendly. The scent of smoke from the BBQ is ever present in the best way, not like an 11 yr old boy dipped in Axe. I ordered the Big BBQ sandwich, two meats. I got brisket and jalapeño sausage. The brisket was, well, fine. Its primary flavor was smoke, enhanced by the spicy BBQ sauce they’d included. It looked like a nice cut of brisket just lacked its own punch. The jalapeño sausage was a banger though. Nicely seasoned and spiked without making you regret the jalapeño choice. Again the spicy BBQ sauce played Hardy to the sausages’s Laurel, making the sausage the star. Bun was hardy enough to accommodate the meats and the sauce. Didn’t get anything else so can’t comment on the sides. Nice place for sure.

Do you want tasty Texas BBQ without overpaying? Then this is your only non-food-truck option.
The overpriced places (Terry Blacks, Interstellar, etc) are fine, but you will get a more consistent satisfaction from Smokey Mo’s. They have great BBQ as well as great sides. However, they have what these other places dont, great prices.

Walked in and the inside looked new. The interior layout had a simple modern look. I ordered the one meat plate (sliced brisket) with potato salad and cheddar new potatoes. Gal at the counter was friendly and was key in helping me decide on my sides. Brisket was tender and delicious. The sides were also very good. Overall quality, quantity, and price was great. Very much enjoyed dining here.

I ordered this place for the first time on Uber Eats and it got delivered so quick I was amazed and thought the food would be good and fresh … let me tell you I was flabbergasted at how DRY the brisket was. You could hold it sideways and it was straight like a board. The barbecue sauce couldnt even rescue it. first impression? I will never eat that dry beef jerky again. Lmao

First overall experience was great. Clean dining room, friendly employees, and the food was pretty darn good. We’re a fan of the brisket (moist), the cream corn, potato salad, and even the pork ribs were pretty solid. When it came time for dessert- the pecan pie was a bit too “boozy” tasting for me (texture was a bit runny for my liking), so we decided to try the banana pudding… it was really good.

Got 1 lbs of brisket, 1/2 lbs of turkey and 1/2 lbs of sausage. The brisket and turkey were very good, smoky and flavorful. The sausage I did not really like. The skin was very tough and the sausage had just a peppery flavor.
The service was fast and staff was friendly and courteous and smiling when interacting with us. Our three meats and a brisket baked potato came to just under $60 with no drinks or sides.
Will have to try again in the near future and get a combo plate to try some sides.

I ordered from Smokey Mo’s through their app (which connects to DoorDash) and waited a while for a driver, long enough that I thought something might’ve been wrong. So I decided to call and they went above and beyond out of genuine care!! They remade my order and even offered to deliver it themselves!!!
They didn’t have to do that, but it really shows how kind and thoughtful they are. The customer service here (on top of having the best-quality BBQ around) is seriously amazing. So grateful they went out of their way to do this. Definitely satisfied!!!

Decided to stop at Smokey Mo’s for the first time…what a nice experience! The service was impeccable during lunch hours, the cashier was helpful with all my questions. We barely stepped away from the counter and the food was ready…wow! Fast service. Food was hot and presented clean. Wife had the brisket which could use more flavor however it was proper tender. I had the Pork belly burnt ends…tender and had a nice balance of smoke and flavor. Sides were Bacon Cheese Potatoes and Mac and Cheese…both were delicious. If you’re looking for great fast BBQ this is the place to go.
