Service was top-notch, and treat yourself to the Smokey Pineapple Margarita, but I’m warning you, you’ll want another…and maybe just one more. The trash can nachos presentation was just as inspired as the ingredients. We’ll be back!
My love got a smash burger I wish I would have got that. It looked delicious.
My chicken tacos were a 3 out 10.
They wouldn’t put onions on my taco lol weird. I dont know what the issue with me wanting that on my taco. She said I can only get lettuce and cheese. I didnt want cheese.
The shell was okay it was flour crispy.
The chicken was not seasoned well and it was like pulled chicken that would be a on sandwich not taco.
The salsa was not good it was out bottle.
My rice was hard didnt like the flavor, there beans were good. 7 out 10.
The lady who worked there said they weren’t a Mexican place but had Mexican food on the menu and was called smokey Jose’s. What was i supposed to know
But he loved his burger and it looked super smashed and smelled good . And he said the baked beans were good.
For food we did the bundle and got ribs, pork butt, brisket and baked beans. Honestly everything was pretty average and I wouldn’t have enjoyed it if we didn’t add barbecue sauce to it. All of the items were a little dry. We loved the idea of it all but just think they need some kinks ironed out. It would be nice to see the food with more unique touches like a signature sauce or more smoked items and veggie sides. There also only two options for kids meals. We would be open to giving them another shot next year though because the service was great and it seems like it could grow into something cool!
Food was OK, we had the Fajitas (Chicken) and Chips and Queso. The Rice that came with the Fajitas was rock hard and i couldn’t eat it. The Fajitas itself was actually pretty good, and hard good flavor.
Atmosphere was similar to a Bar , dark and smelled like stale beer.
Price was fair for the experience.
